#1301 Re: Guns N' Roses » What IF Robin Finck has left GNR. Will you still follow GNR? » 898 weeks ago

To answer to my topic.  Me I just don't care.  I realise that If Robin has left it will be a fatal blow to Axl's band.  And by the way I do think Robin has left Axl's band.  But I'm just not a big enough band to follow him.  I won't see a NIN concert just cause Robin is there.  Simply put I'm not a big enough band to pay big $ to see NIN.  And if Robin had joined a band I like say like Pearl Jam.  Well he wouldn't be the main reason I go see PJ.  I ain't dissing him or knocking him down.  But to me he was just a hired gun nothing more or nothing less.  Although when I saw Axl and company in 2006 Robin played pretty good that night.  And I'll always say that on that night he played Sweet Child O' mine so good that Slash could only dream about playing it as good as Robin on that night.  Robin is a very talented guitarist that I give him.  But I ain't gonna go see a band just cause he's there.

Since the latest developments we've seen.  IF and that is a big IF Robin has indeed left GNR.  Will you still follow GNR?  Or will you just follow the band that RF is in and abandon GNR?  I'm asking cause I know Jim Bob amongst others are big fans of RF.  So would you go see NIN just cause RF is playing for them?  Will you stop following GNR?

As per Fernando on HTGTH, GNR had nothing to do with the DP idea, that DP did this all on their own.

Believe it or don't believe it.   I tend to believe it.

I don't.  Someone somewhere had prior knowledge... Or at least, would have had prior knowledge before this officially came from Dr Pepper.  They can't just use the Guns N' Roses name to promote the product without consent.  A competent legal team would never let them do that, anyway.

And this all happens a day before we get confirmation from the band that they have new management.  Things are looking up.

Things are looking up indeed.  Am I willing to bet CD will be out this year?  Hell no!  But this is better than the silent treatment we were getting.  Anyone who is not pleased by those last two updates I just don't get it.  They are preparing the landing site.  A release date should be imminent.  And BS I agree with you.  I do not believe Axl saying he didn't know about the DR.Pepper thing.  We are witnessing the start of an original promo campaign.  Kudos to them.  If Axl wasn't in on it, D Pepper would've NEVER mentioned GNR by name in fear of a lawsuit.

Wow.  2 updates in a span of 24 hrs.  Good thing I dusted off my positive hat.  This is good news and those are updates that should happen instead of Die mannequin updates.  Good job Axl.

I can't believe what I am about to write here, but here it goes.  I'll put on my positive hat which is very dusty by the way.  I think this may be a promotion between the record company and Dr.Pepper and also I wanna take this opportunity to thank Axl Rose and congratulate him for issuing an official statement on this on his website.  Excellent move.  Him implying that CD will be out this year by saying he will share his Dr. Pepper with Buckethead is great news as well.  Will it prove itself to be a lie?  Not important at this moment.  We should all just see the positive in this and enjoy that Axl has broken the silence.

Wow me defending Axl.  I actually can't remember when was the last time I did that.  Anyways I'll go buy a dirt devil to take off all that dust on my positive hat.  And I recommend that you all put your positive hats on for a change.  What's the worst that can happen anyways?  Not like we've never been down that road before.  Enjoy the good news.

#1306 Re: Guns N' Roses » Thought This Was Funny... » 900 weeks ago

Actually I do not find this funny at all.  It is quite pathetic but not very funny.  The way I look at it is the more time passes, the more people lose interest in this album.  I rarely post anymore because it is boring.  And I read what is posted here once in awhile and I notice people post less and less.

#1307 Re: Guns N' Roses » Thoughts and conspiracies » 901 weeks ago

Since no one answered I have to ask again.  Are Tool really releasing an album this year?  And anyone knows the release date?

#1308 Re: Guns N' Roses » Thoughts and conspiracies » 901 weeks ago

Ok.  Time out here!  Are Tool recording another album? And do any of you know the release date?  I'm surprised cause they don't usually release albums at fast rate.  It ususally takes at least 4 years between their albums.  And fuck this is cool!  I don't care if CC will think I'm a dickhead but Tool totally rule.

#1309 Re: Guns N' Roses » BUMBLEFOOT To Guest On March 21 episode of 'Talking Metal On Fuse' » 901 weeks ago

The only reason this MIGHT interest me is Zakk Wylde cause I like Black Label Society and I know that he will actually talk about the band he is in while Bumblefoot won't say anything cause master Axl won't allow it.  And I ain't blaming BBF here.  And I ain't interested in his solo carrer enough to be interested in this.  And the chances of him being able to talk about Axl's band are so minimal that it ain't even funny.  As a matter of fact I'll go on record right now.  IF and that is a big IF BBF actually announces the release date for CD on that interview.  I will buy 1000 copies of CD and give em away.

I loved Papa Roach.     Their set at MSG was awesome.    3

Were you by any chance listening to your Ipod at the time... ?

Papa Roach weren't with GNR when I saw them, we got Suicide Girls. So as far as a "rock show" goes, Baz got "best opener" by default that night.

I did see Papa Roach last year with Buckcherry though and I thought they were great.

Well I was luckier than you Russ.  Not only did we get The Suicide Girls when I saw Axl and his band but we got The Trews instead of Baz.  We got Die Mannequin as well and they sucked.  But The Trews totally rocked and I can honnestly say I would've been bummed out if we'd had Baz instead.
