Deadpool
Best superhero movie in years. I hope its a kick in the ass to the studios and gives them the balls to release more Rated R shit.

I am not a fan of faulting somebody for being human. He's 26 years old and lost the super bowl. The man is allowed to sulk.
#133 Re: The Sunset Strip » Megadeth Mega Thread » 489 weeks ago
I did like his re-recording of A Tout Le Mode he did about 10 years back. Brought in a female singer to duet.
Could be cool to get modern recordings of the best Megadeth songs.
That was fucking awful. I hope he takes more care on any other tracks he decides to do.

WORST halftime show in history. Not exaggerating either. If its this bad one more time I hope there's such a backlash that they just get rid of it and do something else during halftime. I know they'll never get rid of a halftime show as its now just as famous as the game itself(non football fans tune in) but this is ridiculous. It needs to evolve into a different format. It's just not working anymore. The next few years maybe roll out the great iconic acts like the Stones, U2, Springsteen, AC/DC,etc. one more time or a major female act like Shania or Faith Hill and then change it. Just absolutely ridiculous. I was shocked at how horrific it was.
The game itself.....boy was my prediction wrong.
Atari, I've said it every year it gets mentioned about GNR playing the SB...it will never happen under any circumstances. The NFL will not take such a risk. If they go in that direction again with a rock act doing it, it'll be AC/DC or Metallica. I realize Jungle begs to be performed on such a stage but they'll never gamble on GNR.
I don't think Metallica would agree to pre-recorded backing tracks. I agree that this show was garbage. I would like to see someone like Daft punk. There's a really cool video on YouTube of them at the Grammy with kanye. A superbowl production would be great.
#135 Re: The Sunset Strip » METALLICA Discussion » 489 weeks ago
That's really great Metallica did this, and the set list was pretty standard, and being super critical, that wasn't the tightest performance I've seen from the band.
Kirk's solos are pretty sloppy, and he seems to get worse each tour. I don't know if it's lack if practice or old age.
Ugh, I hear that man.
I don't know how you would get excited to play a lot of the same songs year after year, but c'mon Kirk!
#136 Re: Guns N' Roses » What GN'R members thought about CD » 490 weeks ago
Can you blame Slash for trying to stay diplomatic about it? He got asked the GN'R question all the time, and him saying he didn't like CD would bring more dumbass questions like, "SO DO YOU HATE AXL ROSE," or "ARE YOU GLAD YOU LEFT GN'R SINCE YOU HATE THEIR NEW ALBUM?"

Still one of my favorite live vids. I've seen Megadeth 4 times. One of them was at the Big 4. It's a huge shame he couldn't get the RIP lineup back together, but at least he tried. I remember years ago him talking about how it would never happen.

Let's have em....
Carolina- 42
Denver- 6
I'm gonna go with
Carolina - 31
Denver - 17
I just don't see how the Panthers can be stopped. Denver has been sputtering along all season, only staying in games because of their defense. The Panthers have the offense to go with their great defense.

I'm now about 45 hours into inquisition ... im a level 15 archer and still can't kill a dragon lol
Romanced Cassandra, specialized in assassin
My to party is Cass, blackwall and dorian...nearly romanced him on accident lol he kissed me and everything so I had to cut him off
I'm finding ALOT of time is spent in menus and fast traveling between areas
But This game is huge, and it's very well done...very reminiscent of the orig Baldurs Gate
Yeah, it's huge! It kind of put me off of the game for a little bit. I got overwhelmed and had to pump the brakes, so to speak. I came back after a month or so and just focused on the story. Next playthrough I will go through all the side stuff.

I'm sure we'll get another "The Dirt" article in a few weeks about how the movie is going forward and blah blah blah. How long has this movie been in development hell? You would think they would try to get some of the momentum from "Straight Outta Compton."
