I think Contraband was one of the best albums of the 00's. All the songs are really good to great, with DLT & Loving the Alien being a couple Slash A-listers that haven't been mentioned yet.

Ben Shepherd's stage presence has always irked me. I noticed it right away back in the early nineties & I kind of wondered if it was going to come up again with the reunion. Sure enough, the first review I read, there's someone talking about it. I just don't get the guy.

The one that gets me is Walker, MN. That casino is so remote, how on earth did that thing get booked & who's going to showup for a Slash concert?

Conan & Lopez, sounds like a match made in hell.

Damn, I love this take on SCOM, but I just wish that fag from mygnr (the poser with the bandana on) wasn't front and center the entire time. What a douche.

First of all, Slash being in the popular music scene at this point in his career as a solo act is monumental. The guy was an afterthought 10 years, and through hardwork, determination, and smart marketing decisions has returned to the A-list of the music industry without hiding behind the GNR brand. There's absolutely no denying that.

Secondly, I have a feeling that BTS was chosen as a single because Stockdale was willing to help promote. It's a song that benefits both Slash's album & Stockdale name. Was Cornell willing to do the talkshow circuit with Slash? Not slagging on Cornell at all, just raising the point of finding a singer willing/wanting to sing the song night after night as Slash's second banana.

Nice, Slash is in top form. Happy to see DLT & STB on the bands radar.

I think if Axl hung around with Dave, and talked about doing something together, Dave would be there if he were cool with it. I don't think ANY of that feud is even still alive.

Ummmm, yeaaah, I don't think any of this is true. Sorry.

As far as I can tell, "Watch This", is the biggest fucking bitchslap Axl has ever been served. Dave Grohl, the guy Axl spoke about wanting drums played like...the guy who publicy got in Axl's face back at the '92 VMA's...yeah, for Dave Grohl to come on down and play on a massive instrumental for Slash's solo disc is a huge fuck you to Axl Rose.

Maybe Axl could get CC Deville to do a solo on CDII:)

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the US drops one on Iran in my lifetime. Maybe the CIA will blowup an American base in Afghanistan/Iraq with an "Iranian" nuke, so that the US can keep the overhead low and the publics support high on an Iranian invasion.
