I'm listening to Sorry for the first time ever. This song fucking ROCKS!!!!! This should be the third single. Maybe it's not right for radio but wow! For the first time I am blown away by a CD era song. WICKED!
Yeah, after hearing the entire album the way it should be. There are four I can call my personal favorites "Sorry" is one of the best tracks off the forthcoming release. "Better" well sounds way better (no pun intended) than before I like the solo, "There Was A Time" is my third favorite as everything sounds incredible on it -- and the fourth is "Prostitute" when I first heard the demo earlier this year, it definitely was one that was simply amazing.
My only complaint is the solo on "Riad N' the Bedouins" -- It'll take awhile for me to adjust to that one. Song is great though, I just didn't like the solo that's all.

So for those who've got all the final versions of the singles tonight, this I suppose you can say marks an unofficial end to the journey that has been in the making for well over a decade. Through massive amounts of drama and suspense over the years, we the GNR fans have overcome the obstacles we had to endure repeatedly over the course of the timeline... I guess you could say that "our" moment has arrived. Almost everyone in some capacity is hearing Chinese Democracy in all it's final glory.
What a night it has been, this all (the hunt for music) officially ends once we've got the physical release in our hands... It's been a pleasure talking to most of you during my short time here, and I look forward to more forthcoming conversations with you all.

You know, a lot of people like this song and I am glad you do too but I think this is actually my least favorite so far. The line, "I'd still have to try" is rushed and the lyrics are the worst sappy/rhyme-every-single-line that's I've ever heard.
There are some parts that are brilliant and I do like the song, just compared to the others this is at the bottom of the list for me and I hate to say it's all due to the vocal performance.
I feel bad saying this as everyone seems to love it but that's the way I feel. A good solid song that could have been great, even amazing but a few bad parts in the vocals and horrible lyrics (IMO) take it down a few notches-

Yeah, I'm not a "huge" fan of this song as well, not sure what the big deal is. But hey, no offense to those who like the song. It'll take sometime for me to get into...

well the four leaks from last night were initially in the itunes m4a format so that should help for future reference
The Madagascar that leaked earlier was in m4a format, however it sounded dead-on compared to the June leaks... Also, it has 12 seconds of silence at the end of the track. Possibly fake, the quality wasn't that good compared to the four from last night.
