the only way it matters is if its not slash then the version we get on the record will be different. That is about it

It is likely because Slash did do something to it. But not with a demo. What Slash did is on the NON demo product. And that is what you'll get on the vinyl. What I get and have is Robin on the demo.

I don’t understand why playing the song live makes it more likely the leaked versions are Slash and Duff.
I believe it can be them, just not seeing why the odds are higher because they played it live…
Because what they played live sounds pretty much just like the leak where as Hard School and Perhaps did not

I think the fact that it was leaked alongside The General would make me infer the leaker assumed (or even knew depending on the source of the leak) Monsters was going to be released as well. I don't see a hoarder unloading a treasure if they didn't know it was going to becom "worthless".
I would say hearing tonights version confirms its slash and duff on the leak?

Pretty impressed with his vocals on The General. He is very much on point for a 61 year old man singing in a falsetto. Even though the videos Ive watched are poop quality he sounds pretty good on everything else as well. Just when I think I'm out and have gotten closure, they pull me back in.
I watched part of the live show from last night too and Axl sounds good live right now
its too bad the tour is almost over

The ASCAP listing having both the songs gets even more confusing.
My three theories for it now:
1) It's meant to be two separate listings and the TB Elite Management Team fucked up
2) It's meant to be together on a full album-like release but it's split up for the B-Side.
3) Monsters was meant to be a hidden track on the end of The General on the Perhaps vinyl
or 4 its two seperate songs but meant to be played back to back like we will rock you and we are the champions
I hope the fully live version comes out, its a shame they cut it right before the solo
