Henry Kissinger has officially made it to 100. Wow.

It's now official....they REALLY don't give a shit.
It also shows how out of touch they are with their own fan base....who are a mere click away.
Her 180 is impressive....the first person who was pushing info regarding the "band" working on new material for 6-7 years has now fallen in line with the bait and switch.
You want a new song? Oklahoma? The General? Soul Monster? Too bad...the new song is Anything Goes!
I take back my previous posts regarding a potential reunion 10-15 years ago and how that would've led to more new material.
It wouldn't.
The whole clan would seamlessly fit into the entire CD fiasco with no differences.
They're trolling and insulting our intelligence at the same time. Impressive.
My fandom is nearing the end of its rope.
polluxlm wrote:But why do the worst song on AFD? They could do The Garden or Pretty Tied Up, You Ain't the First, Bad Obsession, so many more interesting choices.
They've been doing the AFD bait and switch for 20 years.....so why break precedent at this stage of the swindle?
Edit
I predict that along with Anything Goes, a new cover will be added to the set. Gotta keep adding covers every year to the set to prevent them from all collapsing onstage from boredom.
Apparently Breakdown is in the alts as well. Though it probably won't be played at all, or will randomly pop up in the middle of the tour before being quickly abandoned like Locomotive & Dead Horse.

I hear the surprise gift people got when ordering the nightrain live cd thing were unsold copies of hardschool and Absurd. That doesn't exactly inspire confidence in more songs being officially released.
Fernando was a very frequent poster on GNR reddit and an occasional poster on MYGNR up until the physical release of Hard Skool. Since then he's completely ghosted the entire online GNR community. I feel after the disaster of the L&L set and the apparent poor sales of Hard Skool they realize they aren't going to get that much money out of the hardcores so they don't care anymore.

To me those tracks belong as Slash and Duff tracks, the same way most of Slash's solo stuff belonged as Axl songs.
Certain CD era tracks I would agree. On the more industrial stuff I don't care much for their take, for example I feel the Better intro they arranged makes the song sound more generic and doesn't really work, even if it's lifted from another part of the track. To me tracks like Shacklers and Soul Monster (if it did indeed evolve from Me And My Elvis) don't mesh with Slash and Duff's style at all. Hoping if they ever release SM someone like Evader can take Axl's vocals and put them on the Elvis instrumental to hear how the song was supposed to sound. Should be easy considering it's probably going to be the same vocal take he originally laid down on it.

Oh, you thought he just vanished from doing promo for no reason?

According to Sweersa at Mygnr, you have Soul Monster and probably the rest of CD2, so it's easy for you to tell others to stop wasting their time following the band, as it obviously has nothing more to offer you. The rest of us aren't so fortunate.
Is that aimed at me or Brodie 2? I certainly don't have those things. Wish I did
Brodie. Sweersa said he was an executive who had CD 2 tracks, specifically Soul Monster but probably more.

A couple years back Slash said they were going to release a bunch of singles and eventually cobble them together into an album. This is looking increasingly unlikely with Slash alluding to only 4 more songs being done. Slash says he hopes for GNR to record a brand new full length album after this tour, but with them not even writing a single note of new music since the reunion began this seems even more unlikely. So, if all we get is a few more singles and that's it, how do you feel about CD being the last studio album released under the GNR name?

Isn't Bucket's Shackler solo basically inaudible?
#149 Re: Guns N' Roses » If GNR releases nothing in 2023, is this the end for you? » 110 weeks ago
Big doubt on MSL only having some emails, documents and a tracklist. A tracklist which contained song titles we'd never heard of before that were later confirmed by the leak in 2019.
Why though? If the documents were truly from Axl's laptop, it's not weird that he would have access to legitimate track names but not necessarily the songs themselves.

I don't believe MSL ever had all the CD II tracks he said he did. I believe Going Down/OMG 2/BBF Silkworms/Blood In The Water clip to be the extent of what he possessed. I think he simply got the CD II song list from the emails in Axl's laptop.
