What in the world? James and I have been talking about this day forever, and it's finally here. RHIAD fucking ROCKS! I'm so mad I got high, I want to hear these with a clear mind, but fuck, this is ridiculous.
Rhiad is so techno funky. I love it.

I'm not sure what has a bigger chance of happening, a reunion or CD. Either way, I'm a happy guy. I, however would be mighty disappointed if CD never comes out and a reunion is the easy way out.
thoughts on this little blurb?

6. Slash was joking. He doesn't care about this CD crap.
Ha! I'm more than sure that Slash cares about what Axl's been doing for the past decade.
#144 Re: Dust N' Bones & Cyborg Slunks » Guns N' Roses Tour Overview 1984-2007 » 890 weeks ago
I like the list, but there are some mistakes:
There were 21 shows scheduled in 2007. 2 were canceled (the two African shows), so 19 were played. The Japanese shows in April were postponed, not canceled. BTW, I'm pretty sure "Live and Let Die", "Out Ta Get Me", "You Could Be Mine", "Paradise City", "My Michelle", "IRS", "Mr. Brownstone" "Nightrain", "It's So Easy", "November Rain", and "Better" were played at all 19 shows in 2007.
How could KOHD have been played at 20 shows in 2007, when they're were only 19 played shows?
That's all I've found for 2007.

Until he confirms it, he's still in. As is Brain for that matter.
#146 Re: Guns N' Roses » The Official Leaks Guide » 894 weeks ago
You forgot what we think is 99 IRS and TWAT.
Was that "IRS" completely different from the Trunk/darknemus and Wes leaks?
Geez, this is annoying -- how many friggin' different IRS' are there? Not including those intrumentals.

You can call this the 'official Leaks guide', if you wish.
Over the years, there have been over 3 different leaks for only one song, this is the thread where we can organize all the legitimate leaks, and try to analyze what year the recording is from and when exactly they leaked.
The one leak or leaks I get confused with is "I.R.S", how many times has this leaked and how different are the versions? I know there was the 2006 I.R.S. leak from Wes, then the MSL leak had a new version of "I.R.S" with the Finck solo -- but, didn't Eddie Trunk leak "I.R.S" in 2003 or something? Also, didn't Darknemus leak "I.R.S"? This is where I get confused, maybe somebody here who knows a bit about them than me can help.
Here's what I know:
Song Leaked: Leaker: Date Leaked: Approx. Date of Recording:
"I.R.S." Piazza/Trunk September 2003 1999-2003
"I.R.S." darknemus? April 2005 1999-2003
"Better" Wes 02/17/2006 2002-2006
"I.R.S" Wes 02/17/2006 2000-2006
"There Was A Time" Wes 02/17/2006 2000-2006
"Catcher in the Rye" Unknown 02/28/2006 Most likely 1999
"Unknown Song" Razz May 2006 1999-2006
"Better" Idolator.com? 02/20/2007 2006
"Madagascar" Unknown 03/29/2007 Unknown, 2000-2007
"Chinese Democracy (clip)" GnrSucks Early 2007 Anywhere from 2002-2007
"Chinese Democracy (full)" MSL 05/05/2007 Same as above
"The Blues" MSL 05/05/2007 Anywhere from 2002-2007
"I.R.S." MSL 05/05/2007 Anywhere from 2002-2007
"There Was A Time" MSL 05/06/2007 Anywhere from 2002-2007
That's really it, so far. So, do I have this straight? IRS and TWAT (the 1999 versions) were the Wes leaks in February or what?
If anyone has further info, feel free to inform me and I'll update this.
#148 Re: Guns N' Roses » Kansas City radio station just played IRS... » 895 weeks ago
I don't see the big deal. Like James said, it's common that some stations will play CD material, all you really have to do is send a demo over to them.

If we only knew what 'current GN'R' were.
We do, however know for fact that Bucket isn't currently in it.

RollingStone.com: Did that call from Dean come at a time when things were already falling apart with VELVET REVOLVER?
Weiland: No, things at that time were working quite well with VELVET REVOLVER and I didn't want to mention it to them until there was a plan and a couple gigs that were actually booked. Slash and I were usually the ones who talked to each other first about things, then we'd go to the rest of the guys. And, unfortunately because of certain people's egos, it'¦ I walked into a situation where there was a lot of baggage. I had a lot of baggage walking into my situation. I was in a band where at the end, it was pretty much three against one. And so I'm pretty sure that it felt that way to Axl [Rose, GUNS N' ROSES singer] as well. I have to say this, and I'm not just saying this now because of my situation I went through, but I heard a lot of great GUNS N' ROSES stories you guys in the press will never hear. Everyone has made Axl out to be this horrendously crazy person, this bad guy, and I don't know him very well at all. He and I for whatever reason got almost tricked into this little media spat for a moment because one of our band members happened to run into him and said that he said something. So, my point being that having been in a band with VELVET REVOLVER now for five and a half years, I'm not quite so sure that it was all Axl's fault. It's like, why does it always have to be the lead singer. Matt Sorum in front of my face, he was the sweetest guy in the world. But there were some times, out of the blue, the guy just randomly hated me. We all carried our own baggage in that band. In a sense, that's why people were intrigued, you know, especially for the first couple of years. Because they were kind of waiting on the trainwreck to happen. They just thought it would happen a lot sooner.

All I know is an STP/GN'R tour would be beyond godly. I'm glad he sort of identifies with the braided one.
