Axl is in Atlanta and the ACDC tour stopped in Atlanta when Brian Johnson couldn't sing any more. ACDC have said they are rescheduling those last few US tour dates.
You join the possible dots.....
Are they picking up on my suggestion now?

Over the weekend, Guns N’ Roses frontman Axl Rose was spotted outside of a hotel in Atlanta, Georgia — where he posed for a photo with a fan and told him he was in town for “rehearsals”.
This is where things get interesting. When AC/DC announced they were postponing their upcoming tour due to vocalist Brian Johnson’s ‘total hearing loss’, they were in Atlanta, Georgia. The group is believed to be auditioning guest vocalists to help them on their rescheduled dates later this year.
As Alternative Nation reported, there has been rampant speculation that the GNR frontman could help save the day for AC/DC, who are currently without a frontman due to the health issues plaguing vocalist Brian Johnson.
Obviously, this is all speculation — but there are a few things that lend some legitimacy to the rumors that Axl Rose could in fact be joining AC/DC as a guest vocalist.
1. Guns N’ Roses would almost definitively rehearse in Los Angeles, as there are many secluded productions lots and arenas in that area. Many acts rent the Staples Center for large scale rehearsals as well.
2. AC/DC has a large scale tour production with big visuals and sound. It might make sense for them to stay in the United States for a while to start the audition process, rather than travel back to Australia where there is less of a selection of notable rock singers who can take over that role.
It looks plausible that Axl Rose could take on the role for the band on a temporary basis. Nothing is confirmed until AC/DC speaks out about it themselves, but there is definitely enough here to make it seem legit.
If Axl Rose returns to Guns N’ Roses and fronts AC/DC in one year, it could make for one of the most historic events in rock and roll history. Would you be excited for Axl Rose to join the band temporarily? Let us know in the comments.

Looks like Niven is stirring the pot suggesting Izzy and Adler should be involved in some capacity. Although I agree with his opinion, it's not a reunion without Izzy and Adler in some capacity. It's a partial reunion that smells like a cash grab.
$26M is a LOT of cash for 4 shows. Fuck me!
I like the idea of having an encore with just the AFD lineup playing AFD songs. That would be cool and a good way to incorporate everyone.
Former Guns N’ Roses manager Alan Niven reckons cash is the motivation behind the band’s partial reunion tour – and he says reuniting without Izzy Stradlin and Steven Adler means it will be more of a Velvet Roses show rather than a classic GNR show.
In an exclusive interview with Eric Mackinnon of New Rock Times, Niven spoke frankly and openly about his thoughts on the forthcoming shows which will see Axl Rose and Slash join musical forces again for the first time in 22-years.
“We live in what the Chinese might call call 'interesting times', began Niven when asked why now? Why this year for Guns to mend the fences which divided and eventually splintered the Most Dangerous Band in the World.
“I wish I could tell you that it is incontrovertible that Ax called Iz and said "I have a handful of songs that we have to record and perform. I have some observations about the world I wanna get out there. I have titles like Demagogue. Illuminated. Armageddon. My Better Life. Think of it as Masonic Democracy. Lets get them done and, fuck it, lets get the old crew back together to take them on the road. Lets put that to bed at the same time."
“Unfortunately, all things considered, I can only assume that its only for the money. How else to explain the lack of statements about creativity, or even who the band is? “How else to explain a ticket price of $1250 for row H.”
A signed drum head being auctioned off for charity in Michigan looks to have let the cat out of the bag at last on a confirmed line-up for the new era of Guns N’ Roses. Axl, Slash, Duff, Dizzy Reed are joined by more recent members of the new Guns line-up Richard Fortus and Frank Ferrer on drums.
The emission of classic-era stick-man Steven Adler, Illusion-era drummer Sorum and rhythm guitarist Izzy Stradlin, who Niven has openly described as ‘the heart of GNR' in the past has been the subject of much discussion amongst fans.
And Niven agrees with the thinking all could, and should, be involved in some capacity.
“For that matter, without Izzy and Steven can it be called a Guns n Roses re-union?,” he asks.
“Without them it’s really just Velvet Roses. Why aren't those two included? Maybe there is not enough money to go around - after all, rumour has it that AEG are only paying $26,000,000 for two Coachella shows and two shows in Vegas.
“I can only guess at Izzy's position based on his Twitter postings ... and knowing him to a certain degree I'd say you'd find his answer in the lyrics of the two songs he posted.
“What is clear is that he was, originally, amenable. After all, he tried to get Axl to come to the RRHOF event. But if he's not going to be treated with equality and respect he's not going to be involved. Sad really, since he was, to my memory, the most crucial member of the band - the most adept at expressing the band attitude and character in song. No Izzy, no Guns.”
He adds: “The obvious solution would have been to have Matt play the UYI material in the initial set, along with a couple of Democracy songs with Frank [if they made the set list], and then save some AFD songs for an encore with the original five together. That way you would let everyone contribute and guarantee two moments of extreme excitement in the night.
“It’s probably a financial decision.”

Maybe it's designed as a cash grab for Axl, Duff and Slash. Then next year double dip and do it all again, this time with the AFD 5.

Major Mayhem wrote:I suspected that Niven was referring to the 2015 reports of Duff and Izzy writing together, which we all knew about. Now, it would seem that's been confirmed after Izzy's latest tweets.
Yeah...the fan base jumped the gun on that info that's for sure.
We're just starved for new material. IMO they are likely to do something with some vault tracks long before writing something new.
That's what I thought, just because he was writing with "one" former member of GN'R, doesn't mean he was writing officially with "GN'R". But people will read or hear what they want to fit their own agenda.

Reading Izzy's lastest tweet it seems like you finally got there Will. Great work veryifing and dealing with all the shit for Izzy.
Judging by Izzy's reclusive nature and tendency to go missing, it's no small feat to see this twitter verification thing through right to the end.
Of course people that know you and your previous relationship with Izzy never doubted you!

Pitmans FB account was 100% real, I had a good look at it. It goes back years and it showed him chatting back and forth with people who clearly knew him on a personal level.
I think he's bit of a wanker as well, comes across awfully smug even though he hasnt brought much to the table, I think he's been more a drinking buddy of Axl's than anything else in GNR for a long time.
I dont think he was messing when he called mygnr cunts and dildos, same as he wasnt messing when in the same conversation someone asked if he'd sign up to a new gnr board, cant remember the exact quote but he responded like "No thanks brother, chatting with a bunch of reunionists and anonymous assholes isnt my idea of a fun time." He's not having a go at mygnr there but forums in general, and he's not joking either, just getting straight to the point.
Fair do's imo, it doesnt bother me in the slightest what he says about forums. I found it pretty funny, at least the dudes honest, the forums are full of arseholes. He was probably sitting at home drunk when he was posting which makes it even funnier
Kinda sums up my opinions of the GNR forums - Pitman is quite astute - lol
I find it refreshing too when someone will speak their mind rather than produce some politically correct comment that every man and his dog knows is not how they truly feel.
On a GNR note, I personally don't see pitmans value to this band other than being a cool guy to have a beer with.

Send Aussie a PM here
He has a pretty crazy collection
I have sent you some details youngunner.
I am actually selling off a little bit of my collection to fund some other stupid shit at the moment Neemo. I'm building a screen accurate Boba Fett costume (insert nerd noises). lol It's costing me thousands for the build so I have sold a few things I don't really care for to help fund it.
#159 Re: Guns N' Roses » Big Surprise - We're almost all on the same side! » 489 weeks ago
It would be kinda funny if they do release new stuff and it turns out it's the music/ideas that they first worked on together all those years ago (around the TSI time). Didn't Fortus say recently before the reunion annoucement that they were working on songs that Duff and Slash first worked on years ago.
Pretty funny if it comes full circle.

Yeah I figured I probably wasn't missing much if most of those other similar documentaries in the past are anything to go by.
