"There's been some concern. That if we play five or six new songs, then there can't that many more on the album. Au contraire, mon frère. We're just playing the songs we're not considering putting out as singles or anything. So, you'll get 18 songs, and about 10 extra tracks. And when that, when the record company feels that has run its course, then you'll get it all over again. By that time, I should be done with the third album. So we'll see if all goes well boys and girls"
Talking of Bucketheads stage presence earlier, I was at the above quoted show and Bucket had no presence at all. I was actually disappointed with the Docklands gig in general, the sound that night was fuckin terrible. When Axl gave the above speech I couldn't hear a word he said

I agree most of the stuff has been covered before but Classic Rock had lined themselves up nicely for getting there foot in the door with GNR. They voted CD album of the year, had exclusive hearings of unreleased material including Atlas Shrugged, and if Im not mistaken gave Sebastien Bach some pretty good coverage for Angel Down, presumably in hope of Axls recognition.
I don't consider this article as favourable to the band, other than informing the general public of the new-new lineup. Classic Rock may have just shot themselves in the foot imo

The article has certainly received a lot more praise than I thought it would. The article made Axl sound like a complete nutcase. Buckethead too, I'm not surprised the studio crew were ripping the piss out of them behind their backs.
Whilst I won't take everything Zutaut says as being true, I find it funny that you all praise the article when this is exactly the sort of media attention that will force hypersensitive Axl even further into hiding.

Four major labels signing this agreement would bring a major change in the music industry. Good or bad Im not sure.
#1627 Re: Guns N' Roses » will gnr ever ..... ? » 909 weeks ago
They'll never play St. Louis, and probably wont play anywhere else in Missouri either. Even if there's a reunion. I lived in that state for awhile in the mid 90's, and there was a pretty strong anti GNR sentiment there. Even among young people.
talk about holding a grudge. it was 17 years ago
#1628 Re: Guns N' Roses » Listening to GNR under the influence of drugs » 909 weeks ago
