i really think you are in the minority on bumble's addition to CD. i thought from the moment i heard that track in 2001 that it needed guitar in the verse. he added legitmate GNR flavor to that track.

now if you want to tell me TWAT was better without a vocal choir at the beginning and end, I'm with ya on that.

cool commercial...way better than the others

#1625 Re: Guns N' Roses » BETTER: second single CONFIRMED » 908 weeks ago

i think the success of the first single is being severely understated by a lot of people. the song is in heavy, heavy rotation, and winning more people over with every spin.

what i think adds to the aura of this album is the unbelievable dichotomy amongst the songs. every song seems to have a critic that applauds it, while another critic that trashes it. meanwhile, the same critic that trashed that song raves about another, while the critic that loved the first song is disgusted by the second.

but if you never heard the leak then you probably wouldnt notice.

his range is a thousand times better than it was in the UYI days. i dont know what people are complaining about on Shacklers.

Street of Dreams is, in my opinion, the best vocal work he has done on any track. ever. Perfect mixture between crooning and piercing.
