I guess it's not as tempting as some other things in life. I've been planning the first listen in solitude with the headphones on.

I wish it was on the weekend. My wife would probably skin me if I went during the week. November is a busy month for us. Both of my boys have birthdays, we are hosting Thanksgiving at our house this year, and I'm going to do a lot of deer hunting come Saturday. Plus I'm going to Indy in mid-December so I guess I'm going to wait until the 23rd and not go to St. Andrews although as it gets closer I may get the itch.

It is the best deal for the casual fan. If you don't want the actual release, $9.99 is pretty good deal for this album with the first track available right now. It does come w/ a digital booklet.

You kind of get it for free. If you buy the single they charge you 99 cents and then on the day the album drops they charge you nine dollars for a total of $9.99.
My baby was up at 1:30 AM est last night so I checked itunes and was just great to see it. I did not buy the track. The only reason is I still just want to experience the album with a bit of freshness. I only listen to CD right now if it's on the radio.

Even a "live" version for a b-side would have generated more sales. I will pass since I can get the whole album in two weeks.

So, for those who have access now, is it just the single for 99 cents?

It's in the one I got today with the Sunday paper.

I think it's great. I hope it's all over the NFL games today. I don't know why anyone would shoot this down. Anything is good at this point. It plays the new single, it's got cool art, it tells when the album is released. All that is good stuff. I wouldn't have expected SNL to be the tv debut, but it makes sense since their ratings are high with all the political antics they are doing right now. How far into the broadcast was the ad played?

They just played CD again at 9:00. This is just fantastic they way this is snowballing. Just wait until radio gets ahold of some of the bigger guns. Rock is back and back in a big, big way.

I've seen Pearl Jam and Don Henley at Van Andel and the sound is so clear and crisp compared to The Palace.
