As long as they dont' ever consider Jim Carey for the Riddler again, and get someone who can bring a very serious, very scary aspect to the villian.  That was a huge problem with every Batman movie, they were too corny.  I just watched part of Batman Forever today and it made me cringe.  "Holy rusted metal Batman!"- I cringed when Robin said that.

Now, if Val had played Batman in the original movie with Nicholson, it would have been a much better movie.  But in that one, the problem is Batman.  In the second, it's Batman and the villians.  In the third, it's the cartoon characters of The Riddler and Two Face.  In the fourth it's Batman, Poison Ivy, Bane and Mr. Freeze.

Another thing, no Robin if they make a third.  Bringing Robin in would only take away from the story i think.  I feel he did that in Forever, and also made Batman look like a pompous asshole.

I admit that The Riddler has potential to be an amazing villian if done right, like they just proved they have al the potential to do.  If a third happens, it has to be Nolan.  Period.

I read somewhere that after this one, in the next one (if it happens) there will be a villian(s) from the comics that hasn't appeared in a Batman movie yet. I'll put a source up when I find it.

Even though Chris Nolan's take on Batman is the real deal, Tim Burton's two Batman movies are still favorites of mine and they were what introduced me to Batman when I was a kid. Danny Elfman's music score never gets old.

I just added The Dark Knight to my list of best

I agree as well that they should just stop it here, I don't want to see this franchise become a cash cow where we only get a few good ones but the rest are just mediocre senseless action flicks with no plot. Heath Ledger's death definitely affected the chance of a bright future that could've been for this franchise.

In a way, listening to Gordon's speech and seeing Batman riding through the tunnell on his motorcycle at the end of the movie made it look like this is better off as the last one, reminded me a lot of Sarah Connor's speech at the end of T2: Judgement Day and how there shouldn't have been anymore after that, I'm praying this doesn't happen to Nolan's Bat-films.

Just walked in from seeing it, it was the best movie I've seen in years and it definitely lived up to the hype. Ledger was an amazing Joker, terrifying and hilarious at the same time. It was very long but still a solid movie, I was afraid to miss a minute of it. This is the movie of the year, ah hell, movie of the decade I should say! 9 3

Glad to see the return of the old logo, I just hope the music kicks ass.

Don't get me wrong, I definitely love horror movies, ask DTJ and James. Some of my all-time favorite horror movies are the original Omen, the Halloween series (except for a few sequels), Dawn of the Dead (original but remake wasn't that bad either), the original Texas Chain Saw Massacre, and plenty more that I can't think of right now. Not to mention, this is a bad era for horror movies IMO.

It's a shame they didn't give Richard Donner a call to make the latest Superman movie instead of Bryan Singer, that was a real letdown after how long they took to make that movie.

This is very sad, he was one of the best. RIP sad

Yesterday I saw The Incredible Hulk, I thought it was pretty good and I've never been that much into The Hulk. The CGI wasn't that over the top even though I think The Hulk could've looked a little more realistic but overall it's worth checking out. The main fight in the end between Hulk and Abomination was awesome.
