Do you not fear the Red Ring of Death? 14

From what I understand, all of the newer models come with a 3 year warranty from Microsoft - if the red rings pops up, send it to 'em and they'll mail you a new one.

Not a bad deal at all.

Can someone post up a download link or at least pretend I didn't say that and PM me a download link? Danke.

There's one in the NIN thread downstairs in the black hole.

From http://www.mygnrforum.com/index.php?showtopic=112281:

"I understand the "rules" and more importantly how anal people are, however I am posting this topic here with relevence to Guns N' Roses, as after the announcement of Robin's partnership with NIN and the update to his [Robin's] website, this is the only official.. "thing" that's happened, and the most conclusive.

The song is called "Discipline" and was mastered yesterday [04/21/08] and released to radio today.

This lends to Robin being "in" NIN, and a further explanation of the pics of Robin in the studio being more than rehersals. Now that it's confirmed Robin is not only the touring guitarist, but recording as well, it MIGHT be safER to ASSUME Robin left GnR on "less than positive" terms [why there's been no comments] and is planning on staying with NIN for the forseeable future, and not going to pack up and head back to GnR on Axl's whim. It looks like Robin is part of NIN and not just a studio/touring musician.

ALSO Trent posted "two weeks" on nin.com last night. The last time he did that he released an album in two weeks. In liu of the new single, this may be the case again, and if so, would have Robin on the CD."

A reliable poster at MyGNR just called the hotel and it seems that Axl might still be staying there and I'm pretty sure he got verification that both Axl and Slash were indeed there...

I'm still trying to save for an XBox 360. I've been playing Halo 3 online with my friends a lot lately, and I've come to the decision that I need to have one.

wow.  this board is getting beyond hateful.   are you guys really fans or do you just enjoy bitching about everything and making stupid speculations about shit you don't know?    the bitterness here is a drag.  byes.

It doesn't bother me that Richard didn't want to / can't comment on GN'R matters, but dude - there's no need to be so hostile towards some people feel differently about it. Let it be.

It's great that you feel so strongly about the new band, and I feel the same way as well, but there's no need to be that way towards people who have different opinions.

Sit back, chill out, and say "live and let die", you know?

actually I did a bit a research just now....they were replacement players in the furs 16

their band was called "love spit love"

their claim to fame was a cover of the smiths "how soon is now?" on the soundtrack to the movie "the craft"

the founder of love spit love was the founder of the furs so they are even getting credit for the furs by association only as neither frank nor Richard appears on a studio album from them hmm

it appears that claiming credit for other peoples work isnt new for them either 17

Richard (maybe Frank) played on a studio version of a song on the Furs' live album - I can't remember what it's called right now.

#168 Re: Guns N' Roses » Tommy/Westerberg consider a Replacements reunion » 896 weeks ago

Oh boy.

If Tommy leaves, the band could be in VERY big trouble. It's all speculation at this point though, so I'm not going to get too worked up about it. However, it IS something that needs to be looked at eventually. While I'm not a fan, I'm also not going to turn a blind eye to the fact that a Replacements reunion would be HUGE, and it could very well keep Tommy busy for a very long time.

No offense, but I find the whole RickRoll thing to be ridiculous.

It was funny the first time, then it got old after that.
