So far it seems to be one of the stronger songs on the album but what the hell is going on with that intro?! Theres no songs on this album that jump down your throat straight away - which is one of the things GNR were always good at.
I forgot about that, the intro is truly terrible. 
If it just kicked into the riff (with out the weird eh-oh vocals) it would be perfect.

Wait. Do you mean it's removed or just because the leak sucks?
Its there, just buried under about 8 other guitarists. Solo is gone as well (as far as I can tell). 
It's still a good song though.

is that in a good way, or a bad way???
He probably means the skipping...it's one of the best songs for CD, in my opinion.
