From HTGTH (/)

I am very pleased to announce that Guns N' Roses and I are now represented by the management team of Irving Azoff and Andy Gould. We are very excited and look forward to working with them and hope our relationship proves beneficial for everyone, especially the fans.

Things are looking good. Two updates within 20 hours. Amazing.

Look for the official statement from Dr Pepper about the advertising promotion tommorrow on their website, I suppose. Since this information was leaked prematurely by Kaneda, presumably.

Jesus fucking Christ with this guy...

I haven't seen this version you speak of, so I guess you weren't in the minority. I've seen the American standard version and I love it. It's one of the best films of 1994, overly destroying Forrest Gump and Shawshank, but falls short against Pulp Fiction.

Jean Reno and Natalie Portman should've been locks for nominations, tbh.

Are you serious? They just gave Axl a friggin' cover and a 10-page spread. They didn't shoot themselves in the foot, they just did PR for the new Guns and hyped CD up even more.

#167 Re: Guns N' Roses » quick question » 908 weeks ago

BigBri hit the nail on the head. A poster on CD.com approprietly named 'Leaky' decided to leak the 3 songs MSL had given some of the people that were communicating with him either on AIM or through other ways. Then the shit hit the fan, Portugal found it there was no guitar, but only a receipt for cables or some shit. Then, TWAT was leaked, finally.

It was a mess, but it was mighty cool of the guy for pulling it off. I remember when he posted his offer on MyGNR and CD.com and no one took it up, until he almost gave hope up.

2012 is the year Guns are eligible for induction.

Oh yeah and, I too feel this year is the year CD finally emerges (officially or leaked).

Classic Rock just tracked down Duff McKagan, Velvet Revolver bassist, and quizzed him about VR singer Scott Weiland's recent 'antics'.

Here's what Duff had to say:

On the Sundance Festival:
'I sang It's So Easy and I Wanna Be Your Dog and then we were panicking a bit over what to play so Matt [Sorum] got up and sang Patience, Matt's a great singer, he really is. Why wasn't Scott there? Scott missed his plane, yeah, let's say that, Scott missed his plane'¦'

On Stone Temple Pilots re-forming:
'That's the rumour that I've heard too, good for him. You can't plan ahead in this thing and if you do you're going to be disappointed. Don't get me wrong, I love playing live and we love this band, but I don't have expectations any more. This is a great band and I'm proud to be a part of it, but it doesn't define me any more.'

Stay tuned for further developments

Not good. Let's see if Weiland shows tonight, maybe another member won't (Duff?).

sorry to bring up HTGTH again, but when asked as to where the thread went to, jarmo had this to say:

The information itself is nothing new, the magazine's name is just different.

Classic Rock reaches a new low in their eternal quest of publishing GN'R news....

This is what's tearing my goddamn optimism away from this news. Jarmo is trying to shut it out like Beta never said it. Is he mad because Classic Rock is getting the scoop or is this all a hoax?

It's weird, GN'R doesn't update us, but whatever Jarmo is saying is probably what Beta says to him, which comes straight from "King Dick's" mouth. Bizarre and untrustworthy GN'R forumland we live in, unfortunately.
