It's so much fun to see them finally do shit like this.
I'm thrilled.
Just wished they had done it 5 years ago when I was still young.
Ron, Richard and DJ deserve a GNR album, they are pulling this thing now and doing a better job than ever before.

I'm still suffering from post traumatic shock after their last studio endevour that lasted a mere 10 years or so.
I am still hesitating in saying "get them back into the studio".
My unborn children will hit college before they release the damn thing.
But interesting to see this is what people want, going back to the 10 year studio disaster of the 2000's.
Oh well, maybe it will be different this time.... (Rhianna thought while she gave Chris Brown a blowjob again...)

I'd love to be paid 70k and get nothing released.

Chris Cornell: "Guns N 'Roses were all normal types minus one"
Without saying anything negative about Axl (Rose), what I remember most is that Duff (McKagan) and Slash and the rest of the people were normal people, friendly and warm in a rock band that just wanted to rock. And then, as if this character to the 'Wizard of Oz' behind the curtain that seemed to complicate what was the most ideal situation in which it could be: were the most successful rock band in the world and famous. At every concert, hundreds of thousands of fans wanted to hear their songs. For some reason, there seemed to be an obstacle to come out and participate in that. That's what I remember most. It's sad.
LOL, he sort of points to what made GNR such a success. A mentally insane singer with a sick talent.

I'm already tired of it. I rarely even bother looking at or listening to boots.
I'm not gonna threw around "I'm out" comments, but if they don't do something within the next year or so... i'll be busy and disillusioned enough to just not give a damn anymore.
I can understand Axl's issues with the whole thing. The money is in touring or a reunion. Not a new new-GN'R album. But at the same time to keep any street cred at all, he HAS to do that
I just know my interest has plateaued and died with CD and this recycling tour over and over again that even if the album was a monster hit, should've been over 2 years ago.
To keep the hardcores like myself around for years to come, new music is the only way.
I'm not saying "do this, do that, do it now or i'm out" and all this shit, it's just a comment. I've been pretty heated about it since probably early 2011, but I pretty much agree with Russ. If 2013 holds ANOTHER jaunt around the world with the nostalgia act, then it'll be exactly what it is now. Guns N' Roses will basically be a Rolling Stones-level Cinderella. Nothing more.
And in the end everything I wanted it not to become, and propably what the mainstream wanted them to become. Keep playing those hits, pretend it's 1987 all over again.
Nothing to do with "Im out" or "Im leaving" or whatever, but in contrast to all silly people thinking Axl should not release more music because it destroys the name GNR (whatever the fuck that means when you had a non-working entity of drug addicts and a mentally insane person in the band from day one), I NEED new music or my interest will fade.
I'm not quitting at one book just because the next one will fuck up my rep. LOL. Creating new things is what I do.

Some review guy once said (in 2002 or something) that the world did not need another Motley Crue album because we had all the Crue albums we needed.
What a fucking silly thing to say.
New music is new music and I rocked out to it, and it wasn't half bad either that album.
Everyone should welcome new creation of music or artistery.
And then bash it if needed.
But without new creations, everyone can go home and jerk off until the cows come home.
And if CD had not come and I still would have to listen to AFD I would not really be into GNR any longer.
The thought of new music keeps me going, without it I see no point rather than stopping by for a show because it's the fun thing to do.
