I thought 4th quarter lists usually come out in August/September and 1st quarter lists for next year would come out in November. That would make the most sense. Doesn't make sense to release a 4th quarter list when the quarter's half-over.
The Universal list last year was from either October or November into early 07. Thats how we all knew to put our late spring early summer hats on. So if it doesn't show up on the list this time, the april-june rumors will start again.

Well, if the thing at the Queen forum is true, Axl will be on a Queen tribute disc. That is doubtful because there is zero new info concerning that, and its a month away.
Yeah, all we are getting in the foreseeable future is the Baz songs. Better than nothing thats for sure. Hopefully that Aerosmith cover kicks ass.
About the silent period, I predicted it would happen before the Asian tour kicked off. There was just a different "feel" to the touring that happened this year. Fanbase showed minor interest, and the media gave it no attention. We just have to hope for 08.

The thing is, she could have entirely avoided it. She just got too caught up in the whole trash culture and it took over her life. She thought because bloggers were talking about her daily and paparazzi were following her meant she was going to be a star forever. She forgot that not only do you need talent, you need a public that doesn't despise you to the point where they will avoid all films that you do.
I understand now why Natalie Portman tries to be more private. Sure, she fucks male models and a few celebs, and probably even does a litle dope. Big difference is she doesn't go to clubs and gossip tabloids showing off. So she gets to have fun while also having a large fanbase that respects her and she has her choice of any role she wants.
Why throw your career away so you can give some dude a blowjob in the bathroom and make sure the news gets to the tabloids so bloggers can bitch about it? Then repeat the same thing. I remember the last big story before Lohan went to rehab(again) was she was in some bathroom at a club snorting coke with a bunch of women. She started bragging how she was about to fly to NY to fuck some dude. Does that REALLY need to be in the news?
Yeah, if you have no talent and are relying on tabloids to prop your dying career up.
These young stars need to learn that getting your name in the tabloids does not mean you are going to be rich and stay that way. Its actually a sign of a dying career.

Yea i really hate pirating
This day and age it sucks for people in the music business and in the movie business and in my business. I wish something could be done to really stop it, but everytime they find a way, the pirates find a whole new way to do their thing
The sad thing is that I have become one of the leechers. I used to be a major buyer of cds, and have literally mountains of cds in my house. The majority of them in boxes filling the closet of one of my spare bedrooms. I got into downloading the past couple years because there wasn't much new stuff that interested me, and what did, I would just download a variety of songs from those artists. I have been getting into more rap, electronica, euro pop, and R & B lately, and have not bought any albums from those artists. Stuff like Christina Milan, Rhianna, New Young Pony Club, Peaches, etc. That has not translated into album purchases.
When I am a hardcore fan of an artist who has released an album, such as M.I.A. or BH, I will buy the album to show support. In the case of BH he releases too much material for people to buy, and he actually encourages downloading by doing that.
Now that I am in the habit of downloading, its hard to get out of it. Its like a drug.
I'm not into pirating movies though. I like seeing films in the theater, and as far as home watching goes, I have a subscription to Netflix and I watch films through their service. Last movie I downloaded was Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning many months ago, and since I had already paid to see it in theaters before downloading the bootleg copy, I didn't consider it piracy.
