I couldn't agree more, Jack.
There are no rules here. A significant portion of democrats would get rid of me just for being a white man and exchange me for dozens of illegal families while they virtue signal on social media. When push comes to shove these people do nothing but pat themselves on the back and contribute nothing to help the situation.
It'll be interesting to see what happens to all the sanctuary cities where they attract and house these people at the expense of the citizens. Theyll raise taxes to care of illegals and give nothing back to the actual tax payer.
Chicago's mayor has an approval rating of between 6-13% and I'll be they'll pick someone even worse after him. There's no way Chicago can sustain this. It'll be a war zone eventually. Anyone with the means will leave. Those that are left will fight over crumbs.

Are the Democrats trying to lose?

What’s with the little girl with cancer video?

Can anyone say they're surprised? I'm saddened with every year that goes by...these people are approaching their 70s. Axl is at least. The good old days are long gone. The absolute garbage that's considered popular and cool now couldn't be further from what Gn'R stood for. There's nothing left but reliving the good old days when they allow us. And that eventually gets stale.

Guns N Roses has always been about getting rich. Always. That never changed.
Maybe...but they did live hand to mouth for awhile...they know what that feels like...and that when they were creative.
That made 5 albums from 87-93...they've made none since other than random songs they play live.
And Chinese Democracy became a paper weight with 98% of 'fans.'

After all this time people still think we’re getting a new album? There’s a point where even the most optimistic become cynical.
If they haven’t done it yet, why would you think it’s on its way?
As much as i love this band, ‘soon is the word’ has been the mantra for over a quarter century now.
Do you really think a bunch of 60 year olds who are filthy rich are about to change their ways now?
I wish i could’ve been a fly on the wall when these guys gave up on being creative. How many times have they actually discussed being creative again? Bc all they’ve done for a decade is continue the UYI tour after a 20 year break.
I have a theory and I’m sure I’m not the first…i think when they hit it big and became rich and famous, their motivation to be creative died. They were at their best when they were a gang on the sunset strip living hand to mouth in poverty. They were at their worst when it was about lawyers and LLCs and who owns what and what percentage of credit does Slash get for this and Izzy get for that?
I’ll leave off with this…if they were just going to relive the glory days then why not make sure Steven and Izzy come back? Why not? I’ll tell you why…money. This has been and will always be about money. As amazing as this group is/was…they still fell short of their potential. It’s so mind boggling that it exhausts me to even think about.

Wow that's a mouthful...I think you should go ahead and do all that. I'm not sure what would make Canada happy at this point...you hate your own PM and our president.
Never forget that if it weren't for the horrible mishandling of the 2024 race by the dems (never seen anything like how horrible they approached it) Trump wouldn't be president. Kamala was the perfect DEI candidate. She was black or indian depending on the day and of course, a woman.
What a joke.

Yup and what happens now? I can't believe the way Z played all that. How stupid.

I think I get what Elon is doing. He's firing people and then figuring out who is actually necessary. Sure it's embarrassing to have to rehire people right after you fire them. But I get the process, kinda.
The only way the people stay behind Trump is if he returns the savings to the people in some form or another.
I don't see how things would be any better under Kamala. She cared more about social justice issues and status quo with with the economy.
The price for COVID has come due. Who will pick up the tab?

I have a lot of crow to eat for what I believed during his first term and I am going to try very hard to never get emotional about politics again. I don't blame him for not wanting to always be looking over his shoulder at the people he appointed.
I cannot vote for another Democrat if they continue on this path. I will not be a part of this until they start purging these absolute misinformed psychopaths. Trump needs to kill WOKE dead. It needs to be stomped to death. I don't know if it's possible, but that's what is needed. DEI is a big fucking joke and as someone who hires a lot of college girls fresh out of school, I can tell you these people are total wimps. They cannot handle anything and somehow they have a college degree. Absolutely no initiative and constant hand holding...it never ends and all they care about is social rewards. There is almost know interest in the actual job...it's all about social lives and chit chatting.
How can they charge so much for a college education and they come out totally useless??? Competence and merit mean nothing to these people. We're all equal and I, as their boss, what I say ought to be held on the same level as someone fresh out of college.
I'm disgusted what this DEI agenda has delivered. From the average totally uninformed college kid to the perfect DEI presidential candidate...WOKE has got to go...it's getting us nowhere fast. These girls feel totally entitled to do and say whatever they want and not be held accountable for it.
Is there any fixing this?
Wow, I can 100% agree with this. Had an issue in 2020 where a young person just wanted to play 'pretend work/boss', it was nuts. What sucks was the 40ish year old CEO (small non-profit) thought she was a whiz at business and sided with her. The place got laughable and completely collapsed within weeks of me leaving.
TBH I think nowadays these college grad types grow up on Reality TV. shows like The Bachelor, Big Brother, Real Housewives etc. And they think work is going to be all about meetings, talking, complaining, and opinions. Not actual, you know, work.
As to politics, I agree Dems let woke go too far into its agenda. I felt Kamala ran a decent campaign, and reinvented herself a bit pretty well, putting on a good face. Biden really screwed things up for her tho, and should've never tried to run again. There was a zero percent chance he could run a campaign, give late night speeches, jetset cross country etc. Keep in mind, 2020 was essentially a 'virtual campaign', much different.
Mehhh, I think things are going to go off the rails pretty quick. Giving him a chance, but realistically from the Gaetz pick, to the Panama Canal & Greenland, now renaming the Gulf of Mexico, its looking like it'll get batshit crazy. I don't think he makes it to midterms before being removed. I also predict he does something pretty extreme right away. My guess is a mass illegals deportation effort within his first month of office, kindof a diversion tactic & setting the tone that he's in charge. If you remember, he did the Muslim ban overnight his first month in office last time.
I actually don't think Kamala ran a decent campaign just based on her spending choices and debt alone. Running around the country spreading a message of 'joy' while parading around with celebrities...minority celebrities...Oprah...I just thought the pandering was insufferable.
I'm trying to figure out if Biden screwed her or if the fact that the DNC intentionally skipped the primaries so they could anoint their candidate.
Approximately one month in, I'm not surprised by what's happening. What I am surprised by is there is a large group of voters/people who refused to believe what Elon is exposing because he's Elon. I'm not saying I want to believe it...but I believe that the federal government is pissing away money like you wouldn't believe.
