How was Star Trek?  I've been "iffy" about watching it.

My problem is the stories themselves. They just weren't fleshed out enough, and the one that is(the chicks and the serial killer) is given to us in small doses.

I agree with this point, really it is the only thing I can say negative about the movie.  Otherwise I thought the movie was excellent.  By no means would I rate it the next TCM, Exorcist or Halloween (it's much more "campy" than "serious") but it is easily one of the best holiday-themed movies made and a great little flick in general, albeit a bit "tame" for the genre.

I liked all the stories outside of The Principal, it was a little weak.  The School Bus Massacre, Meet Sam and The Virgin were all good stuff.  Not a perfect movie but I would give it a solid 4/5 for what it is.

I agree with supaplex.

We're pals Neemo, if I was at the concert and you were there I'd buy you a brew or a shirt.  Since I can't be there I did it this way.

You'd do the same man...we all know it.

Let us know some sort of a tally of how much more you need for a ticket...we'll get you there.

Sent a donation, grab a brew at the concert man!

#17 Re: The Sunset Strip » Saw VI gets destroyed at the box office » 817 weeks ago

I liked the first Saw and the second one was okay but after watching 3 & 4 I was finished with the franchise.  Good to see this one go.  Six movies in five years...too much.

Temple of the Dog were fantastic and Hunger Strike was one of the absolute best songs to come out of the 90's.  Vedder and Cornell's vocals worked perfectly together.  The song was a perfect mix of Soundgarden, Pearl Jam and Mother Love Bone.  Great stuff.

Straight to video...imagine that! 16
It's really horrible man, seriously.

ALL the sequels are masterpieces compared to this piece of crap.

VERY RARE you'll see a straight to video release that is good, only Trick 'r Treat comes to mind and that is because Warner are apparently idiots.  They would have made a fortune with this movie at the box office.

Damn Canadians...Halloween isn't even here yet and they are doing Turkey-day!

Just playin' my fine Canadian beer-guzzling friends...Happy errrr.....whatever it's called in the Great White North!!

By the way Neemo, pics like above really have me liking Canada better and better.
