i was just looking there to see what Jarmo had to say on the matter....he was on this morning in that thread but didnt post...obviously he has contacted mysteron or beta or whoever he gets his info from within the band and is waiting to know more about the situation before he posts anything...
for the record HTGTH was the last of the boards to have the news last night...whether it was cuz they were deleting it or not i dont know but i was watchign waiting to see when it would get posted...and our man -Jack- broke the ice
(speaking of which i should give jack karma for giving gnrevolution and madagas props)
i was banned from ////'s site, so i cant read it. but, i know several people on there and they said that ///// was a mad woman last night. he was caught off guard about this. he does not get anymore info from the band and he is trying to save face. the inner circle will not deal with him anymore and he gets no news, no updates. im curious what www.heretodaygonetohellandleft.com will turn out to be . all i know is that it will take the ball from where ////'s site was and make it better. i have no news as to when it will go "live" if ever. if robin is out, this version is dead and we have a reunion...

this is the end for this version of the band, period. robin was the best guy they had and now he's gone. as for people looking at htgth for news, dont even try it. ///// has no news, no access whatsoever. now that the reunion is coming, he's out bc of the negative things he has said against slash. i have been told that he was going nuts last night deleting any posts relating to the end of the band and how it is a bad thing that robin left. this is a sad day. i have heard from a reliable source that there will be a new gnr site that mirrors /// site, but will be better and with no deleting. i have been told the site is : (this is real btw): www.heretodaygonetohellandleft.com

Interesting he said some new revelations instead of more of the same when his album was coming out.

The situation with Brain has always been a thorn in my side. I just don't understand the deal with that at all. I was one that believed he was out for good and the latest quote from Brain is he is trying to get back in GNR. Now it's confirmed they didn't replace any of his parts, I guess it would have cost too much money or taken too much time not to mention there is probably no reason to replace his parts. Strange situation but I guess I shouldn't be surprised everything is strange.
axl is no dummy. brain is one of the best drummers out there. he stays on the cd and i figured he would all the way along. as for ron, my guess is that he wont be on it much at all. bh stuff has to stay on the cd as well. he pretty much replaced all bh's parts for the tours. axl wouldnt replace bh's work, no way...

But again, it's HIS site. He can do whatever the hell he wants to do with it. And James is exactly right when he says "if you don't like it, don't go". How much more simple can it be?
i agree with you. but, i think a lot of people loved his site for many years and have felt betrayed about how he runs it now and are just voicing their opinions about how he runs it. he can do whatever he wants there, no doubt. my point is that people understandably so get angry and annoyed about how he deletes opinions that are not in line with his. that's all im saying. and yes, i dont go there anymore because of that very reason...

sorry to disagreee, but i have seen over 50 "new" gnr shows, both with ron and BH. I appreciate Ron's work and hs is great, but BH is really off-the-hook....there is much more feeling and emotion in his playing...ron is great, but his style is more plain shredding and very mechanical...just my 2 cents...

brain is one of the best drummers out there. ive seen over 40 "new" gnr shows, both with brain and frank. no disrespect to frank, but brain is far and away better. the band sounds much better with him. i hope brain returns
