This is probably the hardest of the polls.  I think Atlas is great.  Part of me wants to vote for Zodiac or Elvis because those two have no vocals so it's a little hard for me to imagine what it would be like with Axl's voice on them, but on the other hand they make for great Buckethead songs.  Hardschool is my favorite of all these new songs period, so I have to vote to keep this alive.  So I guess I'll vote for Atlas only because I know what the end result I want to be with these polls, but damn is it tough.  When it gets down to these remaining you know they had great material.  Me voting for Atlas in no ways says I dislike it.

That's pretty cool!  I just looked on Amazon and they don't have it in their digital store, which sucks since I now have several $1 no rush shipping credits to spend.  Instead I'll bookmark that and save the credits up to get Pawnshop Guitars like you said I should.

Don't be daft. Slash's band was playing in Fortus' hometown while he was on downtime for the GN'R tour. They invited him to the gig, and presumably someone went, "hey, want to bash out a GN'R song since we all know how to play them?" What on earth does that have to do with the prospects of a new album?

I'm going to go to my room and think about what I did.

I'm just curious what made them go from Shankler's Revenge to Shackler's Revenge.

This is like choosing between which one of your kids you like more.  The only negative thing I could say for Oklahoma is it didn't have vocals.  Which it doesn't mean I don't thing it's wonderful as an instrumental because it's awesome as is.  Hopefully Axl gets some vocals on it and gets it out there on a new album soon.  So my vote is for Oklahoma.  When it comes down to these two it really shows how awesome the music they recorded was.

I'll watch it when it's out on Blu-ray.  I am disappointed that there wasn't any new GNR music for the movie because GNR and Terminator go hand in hand.  No clue how the quality of the movie itself is, but the lack of GNR music in James Cameron's return to the series (as producer) was a missed opportunity.

This isn't the most popular opinion but I enjoyed Terminator 3 and Genysis.  The first two will probably always be the best and Terminator 2 made anything after that completely unnecessary, but I see Terminator 3 and Genysis like most other Arnold stuff: fun action movies.  For all the bashing Terminator 3 and Genysis got from people I wonder where they'd have liked to see the series go given Terminator 2's ending.  I think the only place you could go after that was the route that Terminator Salvation took with it being in the future during the war.

There was an interview with Moby where he talked about one of his suggestions that didn't go over well was that they rent a cheap studio for a short amount of time, record, and release what they recorded in that short amount of time.  He really put emphasis on that suggestion not going over well.  So given the time frame from when Moby was still working on the album and how it doesn't seem Axl did many vocal recordings, should we assume that Axl's voice was even worse than people considered it to be in 2002?

Do we know for sure that Stay Of Execution was the title of the follow up album or is that mere speculation?

This topic is one of many reasons this is the best GNR forum.
