Interesting stuff. Basically, The General was the guy who took charge at the rehearsals simply because no-one else didn't.
What does a 'musical director' for GNR even do?
'OK lads, let's play Nightrain again whilst we sit around for years waiting for paint to dry. Robin/DJ/Frank, have you guys ever actually rehearsed any of these songs'?
Tommy is a good bass player, and the Replacements were alright but he looks like he spent the down time looking down a bottle. Can't say I'd blame him really.

They're pushing insider stuff now. Who didn't know Axl was going to AC/DC and Slash was touring and releasing an album with Myles next year?
It's certainly impressive... 'ACDC singer to do stuff with ACDC' and 'workaholic Slash to release music with his band'. Inside scoop!
I imagine the potential Halloween leaks will be proclaimed as 'fat shit whiney Axl cucking Slash to hip hop beats that you'll never get to hear because we won't share them, so just take our word for it'.
Oh, how I wish to be proved wrong. I didn't even like CD, but it goes to show how starved we are as a fanbase that we'd scrabble around for Chinese leftovers, recorded on a phone.

I did, but hadn't posted there, or anywhere for 5 years. I was invited to the site when it started up, but fell out if the loop.

So, no confirmation of any leaks at all? Seems to be an awful lot of pointless bullshitting going on if there aren't any. Very strange! According to the 'other site-, Halloween may bring forth something else probably non-existent. The excitement is too much to bear....zzzz.

Agreed, even a relative stinker like Going Down was all over the place in minutes.
If they're bullshitting, I won't be impressed. I've tried to avoid GNR forums since CD came out as they're mostly full of lunatics (this place excepted, of course)!
Where's James Lofton these days? Surely he would know something?

Another awesome tune, this really is shaping up to be an awesome album. Never thought Id ever like a song with Adam Levine or Fergie on, so even that is a more than pleasant surprise.
So anyways, has this leaked yet or not? Cant seem to find it... But the MYGNR people seem to think it has, all i can find so far are the songs that have been streamed.
