#11 Re: Guns N' Roses » AXL In ACDC??? » 482 weeks ago
Most interesting to me is the fact that Axl at the moment first time in decades TRYING TO GET A JOB. Sure, it not for a long and only part time, but he is going to fill the vacancy and it not guaranteed.
With AC/DC Angus is a boss and Axl is an employee. I sure that if Axl will not satisfy Angus with the voice he has no chances to pick a job. And Angus seems like very strong boss, MUCH stronger and professional than Axl itself in GNR.
So we do know than Axl considering like a candidate. But we do not know about any other candidates and about decision from Angus. And if this decision will arrive, we all could be sure that Axl in a good shape.

it's cool video and strong take, but...
I think that Izzy doing this just because he is out of show business for tens of years. No one in industry posts such songs in social media or anywhere just because they have another promo tools and special people to organize their PR. That's why this song (and whole Twitter strory) looks so cool and same time so childish.
He use to be out of media focus for so long time and one day his name appears in the press again and may be with wrong/incorrect and unautorised information. He pissed off and trying to build the bridges to people again... in a way that could be describe a little bit naive and unprofessional.
Look, he sending messages to couple of media and all of them post it with notice 'If this is real Izzy'. He was so deep in his comfort life that no one in industry has his proved contact! So i not suggest any deep messages in his posts and songs, just first attempts to speak in modern age in modern ways. Looks like he feels some fan.
And we all know that if there's no agreement between Izzy and GNR right now it could happen in 6 hours before Vegas shows.

Why not them spent summer time in Europe and only then go to their core US market? It will give additional demand after media coverage of Europe fests
#15 Re: Guns N' Roses » Slash's 2010 solo album » 490 weeks ago
I use to hearing 2010's album time after time and i not tired to hearing at all. Only tracks i skip are featuring Adam Levin and Kid Rock. All others I appriciate very much. But my favorite is 'we all gonna die' and i ask Slash via Twitter to play it in 2013 in Moscow and he play it
Track with Fergie is rock imho. She is fairly unknown in Russia so it was my first meet with her. As i could understand she is pop singer who dreaming to be a rock star... No problem to me, she is sexual, she has drive and voice. I also hearing her 'Gimmy shelter' with the Stones, and it was not bad.

Slash has RavenEye as suporing band during their summer US and autumn European tour, 2015. I saw them in Moscow, Nov 2015 and it was first time when i became a fan of a supporting band.

It's new band from UK and they fit to Slash shows perfectly. Obviously they has no big name to support reunited GNR, but if there will be 2 supporing bands the first could be RavenEye IMHO
#17 Re: Guns N' Roses » European Tour Profile and Rumours » 495 weeks ago
Russia definitely deserves a show. Did old GNR ever play there?
They should play Moscow gig in 93 during next European leg of tour but cancel show because of unstable politic situation. Anyway I became a fan lately.
Axl played in Olympuisky stadium at 2010 and fail to fill it properly. Also there was a terrible sound. Then both Axl and Slash played at smaller venues for about 5000 people. Axl in 2012 has 2 shows in Moscow.
Slash after extrimely succesful show in 2013 wrote in Twitter that consider special Russian tour but last November he played only in Moscow, even not in Spb.

Hope to see them in Moscow. Slash 3 times played here and Axl 2 times. Latest show i attended was in the end of November, 2015 , and it was the last show of World on Fire tour by Slash. It was a blast. And will be a blast for reunited band cause Russian fans are extrimely proactive

It’s no secret that Slash has another strong vocalist in the band except of Myles, and this is bassist Todd Kerns. I should tell that way of Todd’s vocal performance fucking rocking me. I also was surprised that Todd was one of persona who has auditions for VR.
Here I collect video from all of tunes which Todd is doing with Slash. Hope you will enjoy it evet if already saw it.
Ace of Spades, December 2014, Birmingham. With Phis Campbell from Motorhead and this was the only this song performance by Slash’s band.
Welcome to the Jungle, February 2013, Moscow, and I was there
Out Ta Get Me, August 2012, Sydney, well-known pro-shot
We All Gonna Die, July, 2011, Paris. My mobile ringtone
You’re Crazy, March, 2013, Dublin. Fan’s shot from 1st row
Doctor Alibi, August 2012, Sydney, the same pro-shot. It’s most usual tune for Todd singing, so I post it as the latest.
If anyone would like to hearing more classics by Todd, here a some extras
Stairway to Heaven Sometime, somewhere, with The Conspirators but without Slash and Myles
Wicked Game, Feb 2012, Las Vegas, performing with The Sin City Sinners
Nobody's Fool, 2009, Sin City Sinners
#20 Re: Guns N' Roses » False - Axl to Join Slash on Brazil Dates » 541 weeks ago
I am understand you well enough, but i'm have not feeling that outside US venues for modern GnR are in other league. You see in video that in Rio Slash has at least 10k audience. Sure production are not so high profile but this is his style to be clother to 'roots'.
At least in Moscow venue for GnR gig in 2012 has near the same level as for Slash in 2013. In 2010 Axl refuse to fill 20 000 arena so there was 2 gigs for 5 000 audience each in 2012. And Slash in 2013 sold one out 5000 audience gig in very similar venue.
Anyway i agree that these discussion is just way to fill the vacoom. No real expectation ftrom me.
