Wait, I thought he did play on Civil War?

Him failing to record it properly was the tip on the weight scale to boot him out of the band. Maybe he doesn't even remember.

Adler is the drummer on Civil War.
Him shooting up Erin with a speedball was the tip on the scale 16

Tbh Matt's only real moment for me was YCBM. Other than that I miss Steven across the UYI's.
I quite like the direction they went with with Brain on CD, just there's not much of a groove to the songs.
The more time passes the more I appreciate Steven as an integral sound to what made them such a great band. I used to believe in that old classic rock review that Axl was the only irreplaceable member & you'd still have GnR but that's not true, either in sound or spirit.

In the end, Axl's sacrificed so much greatness for the sake of his own power trip.

You must be kidding right ? without Axl GNR would be an ordinary 80`s band nothing more.

Axl`s vocals, songwriting skills and leadership elevated Guns` to another level and made them stand out not Steven fucking Adler.

Steven is the lowest of the low.

#193 Re: Guns N' Roses » Dissecting Chinese Democracy: Track 14 - Prostitute » 440 weeks ago

Good on paper ruined in studio. It`s comical how Axl did n`t even bother to record new vocal track and used 99 take. The way he botched word " Prostitute" is cringe-inducing as well.

Great song, one of my favourites, easily in top 10 Guns` songs for me. One of the heaviest and darkest song Axl has ever written.

I like it, it grew on me. Bumblefoot`s solo is horrid though.

There is an awesome song buried somewhere underneath a layer of unnecessary samples.

#197 Re: Guns N' Roses » Will we hear new music in 2017? » 442 weeks ago

I don`t think so. if Axl has plans to release music, 2018 is the most likely. P. S. Happy New Year everyone.

#198 Re: Guns N' Roses » GnR Toys to be released this month » 446 weeks ago

This band releases dolls instead of music. They suck so much.

#199 Re: Guns N' Roses » Song Idea for GNR » 447 weeks ago

Oh My God is a great song, easily in top 10 Guns`songs for me. Probably the heaviest song Axl has written.

Lyrically Axl was n`t at his best on CD while there are some brilliant pieces like Catcher, overall his lyricism on the album left more to be desired.

It`s not that Chinese lyrics are flat out bad, it`s just they are too self-centered, whiny and nauseating. Granted, self-pity is rampant on old stuff as well but CD elevated it another level, it almost borders on unbearable. I don`t want to hear a multi-mllionnaire rockstar bitch and cry about ex girlfriend or how everyone has wronged him.

What`s the problem ? they beat an effigy ? big fucking deal 14

Some of you were triggered for no reason at all. This publicity stunt was more interesting than the entire tour.
