Who is this Beta woman?  Does she have anything to do with the band?  Is she the one who plays the harmonica at the start of Bad Obsession when they play it live?   If so, she rocks my world!  Happy Birthday !!!!

Maybe we should all forget about GNR until a new record happens!

Believe me, I tried it.  My interest really dwindled after the CD release, and after what I held as the most anticipated album I wanted to hear just started to grate me after several listens.

Then when DJ joined, and Robin was out, I was so wanting to turn away and not have any interest, it just started to seem so fragmented. I wanted to not spend my time here, not follow the setlists etc, forget GnR, it was over for me. Done.  So I took a few weeks away from reading the forum, or checking news items.

Then comes the Eddie Trunk interview, wow, good/bad/annoying, then Rio with the raincoat, oh it was so bad, then Kimmel It's the soap opera effect.

So I tried, but I'm still here reading. Its an addiction I cant seem to shake...dammit!   Arrgh....

Where's my stick? I need to go hit myself with it again. I'll be back later just to see if there is anymore news.

I'm sure it was someone just dicking around, I didn't take offence.

Ok, so the breakdancing bit was rubbish. Then when he said he got his cock out on Axl's piano, I just thought he was a knobber who is full of shit, I bet he never did that. And if he did do that, he's even more of a knobber!

Always thought he was a bit of a cock, this just confirms it.

He could have gone on about the 02 line up, and how freaked out / disappointed the fans were without adding these bullshit bits into it.

I've never heard of the MFSL issues till now, just done some reading on them, and the background.  But I don't understand how this works with the labels? I mean, how can they release stuff that is owned by another label, in this case Geffen? Do they pay a royalty to do so?  It's an interesting concept.

To be fair, though, this:

"I apologize to anyone I've inconvenienced or put out in any way."

Is all I wanted to hear. Not a justification, or an evasion, just a straight-up apology taking responsibility for the late shows. 'Cause what annoyed me, having been through the experience of a late show, and seeing casual fans leave disgruntled, was seeing the constant stream of jokes about how he's never been punctual, ahahaha.

So, y'know, fair enough. He apologised, and I'm happy with that.

I dont buy it. At first I thought the apology was cool, then he went on to say:

"perhaps you'll find some comfort in that I'm sure I've lost tens of thousands, if not millions, more - especially in the long run."

Which rubbed me the wrong way, its like he's said "I'm sorry, but...wah wah wah poor me too".

Anyone from the UK who knows the politician John Prescott? - this unholy mess of words here could have come right out of his mouth:

"And in our defense addressing the nonsense, the relatively small majority of which percentage wise being in general what we feel are at least somewhat reasonable or justifiable such as technical difficulties, crowd control issues, health or injuries, managerial/agent nonsense or simply beyond our control and often as the case may be more hype than reality which again (and definitely not taken for granted) with all things considered, eventually has seemed to work out fairly well."

I mean, what is he trying to say there, apart from "its not my fault"?
