I haven't listened to this one yet, but they do say on the article that its a little different from the rest of the album. If you haven't already, check out the first single, the enemy inside.

The Freedom Tower is finally finished. Looks good, nice addition to the skyline. I wish they had rebuilt the towers as they used to be though, or built another one like this. Building just one just doesn't feel like we've bounced right back, the skyline is forever changed like this. Then again, the nation has been forever changed, and many don't want to forget.

I won't be able to listen to this until later today, but I really liked the first single they put out from this new album, and I'm excited to listen to the rest when it comes out.

Dream Theater Streaming New Song 'Along For The Ride'
(TeamRock Radio) Dream Theater have released an online stream of their new track "Along For The Ride" which comes from their upcoming self-titled album that is set to be released on September 24th.

Dream Theater guitarist John Petrucci says of the song: "It has a different vibe to the rest of the album. It's like an anthem – it's singalong, you can see it live.

"The message is that, with all the crazy stuff that happens, we don't have a lot of control, so we're along for the ride." You can listen to the stream of the song here. http://www.teamrockradio.com/news/dream … r-the-ride

Alter Bridge Wanted Unpredictable Album
(TeamRock Radio) Alter Bridge guitarist Mark Tremonti says that the band did everything that they could to make their new studio album "Fortress" as unpredictable as possible.

"The last thing we wanted was verse-chorus, verse-chorus and all that. We messed with time signatures, tones, key changes," Tremonti tells MusicRadar. "Everything we could throw at these songs, we did. They have you never knowing what you're getting next."

Part of the process was refusing to take any arrangement for granted. "We didn't want to be easily satisfied," Tremonti says. "It's so tempting to say, 'That's it – it's perfect' the first time you have something.

"But you never really know it's as good as it can be until you exhaust every possibility. That's what we did." Read more and check out the video for the album's first single here.

Just in case you need another reason to dislike Machine Head...

Machine Head's Flynn Slams Avenged Sevenfold

(TeamRock Radio) Machine Head mainman Robb Flynn has poked fun at Avenged Sevenfold after their new album Hail To The King reached number one in the UK and US charts.

In his online diary Flynn sends his congratulations to the band for the success of their "latest covers album" and adds: "Who knew that re-recording Metallica, Guns n'Roses and Megadeth songs could be a worldwide hit? Ba-dap psssss!"

He suggests the band – who already defended their musical direction on their latest release – should change their name to Sad But Two and that lead track Hail To The King is "actually that ugly AC/DC band's song Thunderstruck."

And he jokes that sales of Metallica black album "skyrocket as fans realise where the new songs came from." Read his number-one punchline about A7X here. http://www.teamrockradio.com/news/robb- … rt-success

I'm a little surprised with the results so far. I was expecting masters to win it, but we've got the black album ahead. And it's nice to see people voting for something other than those two, since they're all really good in their own right.

Come on now...

Bush asked for approval to use force after all forms of diplomacy had been exhausted. (Clinton, among others, said after her vote that she took W on his word in regards to diplomacy-silly her.)

Once W got that vote, he kicked the inspectors out of Iraq and went in with guns blazing. He said it wouldn't be "prudent" for UN inspectors to stick around. All built of course on the WMD lie

It's not fair to call Bush a liar. 1 - WMDs were found on Iraq, and it was reported, it just wasn't the mass quantity that was originally thought.   2 - months passed between when the intelligence was gathered and when troops were sent it, the WMDs could have been move out in that time. Earlier on this thread I posted a link to a book written by one of Saddam's top generals in which he claimed the weapons were moved to Syria.

That doesn't prove anything of course, he could be lying for whatever reason. All we know for sure is, the US had enough proof to convince the UN and several other countries to invade, when they got there, there weren't many WMDs. That doesn't mean Bush lied, that doesn't mean the WMDs were never there.

I don't think I'll ever get sick of Enter Sandman. And I'm a NY Yankee fan, so I've been hearing that intro every other game for years.
