...now that GNR is in Rockband 2 I wonder if they'll consider that a sell out too...

He's the only truly marketable member from the CD era besides Axl, although Tommy is pretty well known.
Tommy is well known mainly in the States, perhaps in the UK as well....Bucket has massive global appeal, like Slash had...which is what GNR desperately needs if they are to make the numbers they're expecting to make...
No disrespect to any other guitarists in the band currently, but if you were to do a gig in Albania, they may know who Robin Finck is (although highly unlikely), they will definitely have no clue who Richard Fortus is....
But they will know who Bucket and Slash are....and for me, its one of those two who Axl needs to bring GNR back to the "top of mind" status globally.

correct, its currently one of the best ways to get GNR to the younger audience, which is after all, where the cash is....

james has an opinion of it....like you and I....he thinks its the real deal....I don't...a whole lot of us don't think its anything more than a decent demo....
badly mixed, if you ask me....so this new brother came along, cleaned it up, and the tracks are sounding better....he's no insider, he's just a kind dude, who figured we'd appreciate what he did....
i personally do, and I don't think he should be given shit for it....that's all...

He got noticed for being a freak show, not because he amazed everybody with his talent...let's make that clear.
He may have subsequently impressed people with his talent, but that isn't why he got noticed at first.
interesting point of view....i completely disagree...but his visual appearance did make him stand out more than others....

that's the thing....he was always the odd one out....there's no real hate, its simply a possible theory as to why he may have left...I personally can't spot his contribution to the leaks we have, for all I know, it could be any of the three guitarists doing any of those parts, I can't be 100% sure...
Instead of bringing Tobias back, Axl should call Dave Navarro, as I think he would be better suited to play Robin's parts that Huge....

the blues goes...madagascar is shit quality wise, but conceptually i feel is a stronger track....
