Some trivia pursuit, with a grand total of 2 votes... Hybrid Theory just became the first item on an elimination series as far as I recall stretching back to ROV to be eliminated with so few votes.

This is round 4.

Please mention whether the album you're voting off is something you've actually heard or not. Most of the nominees should be familiar to our members.

Voting ends in 3 days this time. If there is a tie, metacritic score will be used.

Below is an example of a famous (not necessarily best) track from each album.

Audioslave

Chinese Democracy

American Idiot

Hardwired to Self Destruct

Songs for the Deaf

Kid A

Elephant

This series has been a disaster in terms of participation. With metacritic as the tie breaker, Hybrid Theory is gone.

Here's the other 3 singles from said album.

So here's how I see it;

I'm completely indifferent to Green Day and Audioslave. Cochise is the only Audioslave track that got regular play on airwaves during it's time that I remember. The Green Day album however was pretty big, just not my cup of tea.

I'm not a huge Linkin Park fan, but I remember liking that album and owning it when I was a kid.

I owned Songs for the Deaf too, but it's just a decent album. Nothing special about it imo.

Hardwired however is just repetitive to me. It's an updated Saint Anger sequel with better sound quality. Nothing offensive, but forgettable.

It's not worth talking about Chinese Democracy.

Elephant and Kid A however are the two easiest to justify being in this series. Both were pretty big and influential. I'm disappointed if there's someone on the board who hasn't heard both. My preference is Kid A.

I don't think so. I think it was just a studio rehersal.

The 02 tour soundboards (Like Boston) are as close as you're getting to a re-recorded Appetite ect (if you don't include Live Era).

Slash also didn't want him at the Rock N Roll hall of fame

Slash's instinct was right and he should've stuck to his guns. It's amazing how Slash never seemed to understand the leverage he really had.... especially in a HOF situation where Axl isn't even coming.

Sorum ruined the moment with his wisecracks about Adler's drug use.

As for Duff, there's a few things... but the books final chapter is Matt trying to get Duff to insist on him joining. Duff says I already signed

I still get a kick out of this.

Duff spent the better part of a decade rebranding himself as a financial guru yet comes across like Jeff Spicoli here...

Bro, I already signed the deal!!

I can safely say I have seen nothing having to do with the HoF. Did Sorum really trash Adler? While Adler was there?

He made a joke when it was his turn to speak about Adler getting kicked out off the band for doing too many drugs. Which he probably thought was funny, but didn't go down well with some.
