At what point was it decided that we wanted our rockers to be nice, proper, and polite.]
I want everyone to be nice, proper, and polite.

I'm not saying I don't want to see them. I'm saying I don't want to see them for the ticket prices, gas prices, parking prices, and time I'd have to give up to see them. It's hard for me to justify spending that much money on a concert for anyone, so if I did there'd be other groups I'd rather see.

Yeah honestly I wouldn't go. I don't have money to spend on bands that are too busy to be creative, too petty to be professional, and too scared to be original.

Well I guess fresh bullshit's better than the stale bullshit that usually emanates from GNR

On matters such as this, I will accept no proof other than what my own eyes can see and ears can hear. That doesn't make jamester or misterid or msl liars, because I don't disbelieve any of them, but I don't believe them either.
Frankly, I think they all ought to just stop talking about it if they're not going to talk about it.

Cult of Personality is pretty awesome though

I don't care either way. I might post if a thread was open, but I wouldn't miss it if it was locked.

Watched Pegula's press conference, as he's now officially the owner of the Sabres. He was very reserved in his comments, although he did say he was planning to keep Darcy and get Lindy a new contract in the offseason. I guess I'm ok with that. Our financial restraints on scouting and retaining star talent have been a big challenge, and Pegula can and will remove those disadvantages. So I'm excited, although I don't expect him to make any splashes at the deadline and I don't know if the team will make the playoffs this year.
Still I feel confident that we can keep Myers and Stafford now, and considering Miller and Vanek already have big contracts and some guys (Connolly, Pominville, Roy) also make pretty big money, that was a concern with Golisano's ownership.
I'd get so pumped for 2011-2012 if this offseason the Sabres sign a big free agent. I can't remember the team doing that since ever.

Yeah I know I sometimes look at the Sabres schedule from the early 90s and they're all games in northern, true hockey markets. Even as a city lucky enough to retain its team, it's hard to get pumped about playing against Florida, Atlanta, Tampa, Nashville, Phoenix, Anaheim and the like.
It's a regional sport. The fact that Phoenix hasn't moved yet makes me more and more concerned that moving teams back to better markets won't happen, and I don't see expansion as a good idea. I thought the Coyotes would've been back in Winnipeg already. Maybe Hartford has a better shot since it's American and Bettman hates Canada.
