I honestly cannot comprehend the fuckery that has gone on today.
We have:
- Fake leaks for manipulative purposes
- Fake leaks for... fun?
- Real leaks
- Fanmade imitation of real leaks
- Cellphone recordings of real leaks
Only in the wacky world of Guns N' Roses.
I bet other fanbases look at us with pity.

The Atlas "studio" clip is confirmed fake.
The General "studio" seems very fake to me.
The General cellphone recording seems very legitimate.
I am not sure about the Soul Monster clip although I find the vocals convincing, myself.

The Atlas clip seems highly suspect.
It has the same sort of flavor the old scammers used, namely find a sustained note from the multi-track, layer it over some orchestration and hope to fool the rubes.
If you're a rube, make sure you post whatever you have and your bank account number to boot.

I know that "Going Down 2002" is just the channels flipped but the intro is much better this way.
More character.
Anyway, I can make out fuck all in this General clip. The guitars sound interesting as do the drums but it's basically incomprehensible.

It appears that a supposed cell phone recording of The General has popped up at another forum.
I know this board has a history of scamming and other questionable activity but this seems less fake than the standard faire.
