I updated my ABSURD single cover.
Higher quality assets. Smoothing out rough edges.

I wouldn't be opposed.
Having said that....ditch the album title.
It'll sink the whole thing.
I see your point both because of baggage and politics but it'd be a total Axl move.
He always felt the album didn't get the shine it deserved.
And in my dream world, CD gets re-released after a talented producer/composer gets their hands on it to work on some of the arrangements.
I just don't want a lame, uninspired self-titled thing. I want a properly titled album with artwork, not tour pictures.

Here’s a noodle baker.
The new album IS Chinese Democracy.
But this time it’s a double LP like UYI with the correct artwork, current band re-recording the 2008 version, etc.

Can y'all catch me up to speed? What is going on? I accidentally stumbled onto the YouTube video for this song just now. YouTube suggested it to me on the home page. I'm too lazy to read the thread, but I appreciate any insight y'all can provide. Thanks!

What if the songs Gn'R releases this year are the "bonus songs"?

I want to believe this is the beginning rumblings of something big. They've gotten everyone's attention with a big WTF? move. Please don't blow this. Hard School is a very good single to launch an album.
How long do they wait to release hard school? I don't think they can do it in the next couple weeks to allow Absurd time to breathe, but they're leaving the US in 2 months and heading to South America and Australia right after. Then they have 6 months of a tour gap before they hit Europe. An album needs to be out before Europe, and I'd assume a 2nd tour of North America late summer/fall of next year. I'm no internet guru, but you only have people's attention for so long.
Timeline is even shorter since the Australia dates are in danger of being canceled.

It would be good to let Absurd get a press cycle.
But if they do 1 song a month, the album releases as the tour ends which would be strange if it releases in November.
Or they give us 3 songs and then don’t release the album until 2022.

To answer the question....
I wouldn't expect anything else for another month or so. Having said that.... Hardschool is on the setlist....so that means it could happen at any time.
I'm predicting three singles...and the album launches with the third.
lol
Fair point. I think the one a month thing is a safe bet.
On the other hand they have sound checked Hard School two dates in a row…
Exciting times. How the turn tables.

Alright since I’m letting my self get excited like a nerdy fan again.
When do you think we’ll hear another new song / get a new single?
Think they’re only doing 2 or is this the start of the flood?

It really was a demo....!
The Rock in Rio 2011 rehearsal version is a lot like the changes Silkworms got. More riffy and classic.
