The phone recording from the Austria party?
I've only ever heard of the one that was barely audible. If there's a good quality one like what was mentioned above, then that one.
The one I mentioned is the barely audible one, but it becomes more clear after listening to Evader's remake. That's why I conceded it could be a trick of the mind, but I don't think think so since I can make out sections where Evader's version is clearly incorrect, like the second part of the chorus. Listening to the Evader version first then the cell clip just tends to help put some of the pieces together.

Has Brasky ever had a correct prediction?

There's plenty of reason to believe it....the fact they had a second album and a handful of extras ready to go.
You telling me Oklahoma is in the category of shit not worth bothering with?
Bullshit....
For songs like Oklahoma and Soul Monster not to make the final cut of 22 would mean there were secret sessions later on that bore fresh fruit....and we all know that didn't happen.
A mistake? A band accidentally put an instrumental on its list of alternates?
Come on....
Do some people just hate these songs and pray that they're nowhere near an upcoming album?
I said in my previous post Oklahoma/Berlin is one of the tracks I want most on the album. So no, I don't hate it. I was skeptical mainly because it was still an instrumental when shown to RS in late 1999, even when he was describing what inspired it. It also had no vocals on the Village discs, and I personally don't believe Bird's claims to have it with vocals.
I did not express skepticism that Soul Monster did not make it to the final cut, I simply stated that we don't know for certain that Elvis is Soul Monster. I certainly want it to be, as it was my favorite of the instrumentals. I am 99% sure though. I don't even really have that much skepticism on either I was more or less responding to Sky Dog's demand I "stop it already" after I simply stated it would be a travesty if Oklahoma and Elvis didn't receive vocals. Not really a big deal.

I said the same thing about "Jackie Chan" for years, and then I was blown away by Hard School. Wasn't that General clip really, really bad quality, with only some screams that were clearly audible?
You can make out a lot, actually. You can make out the melody of the first part of the chorus and some of the lyrics: "Do you remember who did that to you?". The second part of the chorus is just Axl singing "Who would do that" with "to you" echoing over Brain's drum beat. Then you can make out Bucket or Robin's solo pretty clearly, then the orchestra music that was confirmed to be The General by GNR's twitter in 2010. You can hear alot of what Axl is screaming at the end too, "My hopes my dreams have died", ect.
Of course, alot of this could be a trick of the mind after hearing the version Evader made of what he thinks it sounds like, but I think these parts are pretty clear.

Soul Monster & Berlin are the must haves for me. From the listening party cellphone clip The General sounds interesting but I can live without a full version. It would be criminal if Elvis & Oklahoma were never given vocals.

Beta has replied to a fan on instagram who said they felt "the song is direspectful to fans" that she is "sorry they feel disrespected, that wasn't the intention but this song is part of the CD, enjoy your day"
.... Hard to ever know anything with this band but... did she just confirm a further release of something is coming?
On whose IG page did she says this? She's been trolling multiple IG pages over the past few days.

0% chance of a new album this year. It's good that they released new music to accompany it but this is still being marketed as the "return to live shows" tour. I assume near the end of the year another NA tour will be announced immediately following the 2022 European tour, and that the album release will coincide with this "Next Chapter" tour, which is basically what it seems was planned for 2020.

So I assume no album this fall. They wouldn't really make Silkworms their lead single for a full album, would they?
