In years past I've adjusted the schedule so that each team plays the teams within their division twice so there'd be more banter and bragging rights on each respective board. Plus each division winner gets one of the top 2 seeds and a bye in the playoffs so that's also a factor. In the past with 12 teams that has left 3 games outside the division. This year though we have 14 teams total, 7 in each league. So we have two options. Tell me which you'd prefer.
1) Play each team in your division twice and one opponent outside your division.
2) Play every team in the league once.
Let me know what you think and I'll adjust accordingly.

I drafted live and did quite poorly according to the experts. I reached on some guys too early, waited on positions too late. I'm going to have to get lucky and make some stealth waiver pickups it looks like.

We have 14 teams right now so we're good to go for the draft. It's just the 12 teams from last year were auto renewed and I haven't heard from about half of them. So they might not know they're back in the league.

Draft is tonight I think. For those of you playing.
Yeah, I didn't hear back from a lot of guys so we may have some inactive teams and a lot of autodrafters. But I'll finalize the list and we'll be good to go for the draft.
#225 Re: The Sunset Strip » Headbangers Ball, Hair Metal & Grunge » 409 weeks ago
The above lists are playlists from MTV's Headbangers Ball.
Neemo.....those bands you aren't recognizing are mostly second tier speed metal bands. A few obscure hair metal bands thrown in too.
I've always said speed metal was on the verge of going mainstream in 90-91. Few believe me but these HBB playlists is the proof in the pudding. I also realize its mainly because some change had to be made. This is why you see this unique period in 91 before the Nirvana shit hit the fan where they're letting the genres battle it out to an extent.
If we get down to brass tacks, Pearl Jam wasn't first. AIC was first, Temple of the Dog second, Pearl Jam third.
I don't remember ball buster. I'm tempted to watch a couple episodes on youtube and find out.
When did Headbanger's Ball die off itself? Did Grunge kill it off too?

That might be worth it even if you skip going to the game!
True, you could just come for the tailgate. It's just as fun as the game itself in some respects. I'm typically not an early riser, but I wake up bright eyed and bushy tailed to leave the house at 7 for 1 o'clock games during the season.

I forgot about it but it wasn't much to see in CT either. Apparently around these parts the total eclipse will visible in 2079. I'll be 100, so I have something to look forward to.

Haha, hell that was long, but I got it off my chest all at once.
Great post. I agree things look pretty hopeless right now and it's not going to be easy to dig ourselves out of this mess. Im not sure exactly how we got here but we're in deep now and for the foreseeable future. Unfortunately people would rather see the opposition fail rather than the country do well so they can puff their chests out and say "I told you so". And that's on both sides. We're all to blame and until the divisiveness lessens we're destined to keep spinning around in circles and avoid making any notable progress.

I don't think anybody would claim she was a Nazi, or what they did with her flag was acceptable.
These are Neo Nazis...

Fuck these guys.
You've got no argument from me about the White Supremacist's in Charlottesville. As for the woman in that video from Boston yesterday though. Well, at least one person thought it was alright to grab her American flag and drag her to the ground. That's the problem here. She was there to advocate freedom of speech and at least one protester grouped her in with a vile faction that she has nothing to do with. Many of these protesters don't even know what they're protesting or who they're protesting against. They're basically protesting anyone who thinks differently from them and that's dangerous.
