Stuff is starting to pop up on YouTube. This is a pretty listenable version of CD (sound quality wise): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RMYCYg-Iosk

It would never happen, but I'd love to hear Slash use a killswitch.

That's such an amazing piece of gear... I've been playing with the idea of having one made for me by a local luthier (normal size though, that Gibson thing is huge). Or alternatively, take out the tone pots out of one of my Les Pauls and install a kill switch and a blow-out switch.

Also, you criticized M for both not giving out enough info, and giving away to much info - what's the deal, do you have a legit beef or are you arguing just to argue?

No he hasn't... he's arguing GNR isn't giving out enough info, so MSL and other 'insiders' can make a business off of spreading rumors an being all cagey about the stuff they supposedly know. Nothing more despicable than teasing you know something and hinting at stuff without going full hog. Either you're going to say something, or you shut the fuck up. Especially if it has been proven in the past that you are often enough just plain wrong.

You're very likely (and hopefully) right, but they should still take it up a notch and perhaps do some interviews and talk shows as well...

True, there is also a leftist movement. But that movement has a lot of establishment support. A lot. Trump is basically grass roots, and imo because of that, a purer representation of the public will.

Wait... what? Bernie has more establishment support than Trump? Bernie's campaign is not grass roots? Trumps disapproval ratings are through the roof, yet he's somehow a better reflection of the will of the people?

a load of bullshit

Ugh, what a load of bullshit. That opinion piece conveniently forgets that there's an equally radical movement on the left that has at least equal and from the latest national polls larger support with the general population. Fact of the matter is that beyond further polarization between the two parties (and between the two extremes in both parties) there's really nothing new under the sun. Trumps success isn't a reflection of the nation, it's a reflection of the republican party.

Nationalism is an affliction, nothing more than an excuse for the unwashed masses to claim superiority because the country they happen to be born in happens to be good at something.

Wut?? She looks like the after picture of a before/after ad against plastic surgery. Very, very unattractive women to me.

CD is a better album than either of the UYI albums as they are.. although I think if you took all the best songs from UYI I and UYI II and made a 15 track album, it would be close. Can't deny the power of songs like November Rain and Estranged.

As someone else said on here before, CD is probably more on the level of TSI. I find either of the UYI's to be better individually than CD. Lies is closer, but I still rank it higher.

Frank is the best drummer for GnR as it is today. Some hardcore fans simply will never warm up to him because he's not Adler or Sorum. Beyond the nostalgia factor, there is little reason to replace Frank with either.

I've heard lots of raving about Frank's drumming, but I think most drummers will agree he's objectively a step down from Sorum. But it really doesn't matter all that much since he's only the friggin' drummer after all. As long as he gets the BPMs under control and sits on his throne comfortably while enjoying himself, he'll be more than good enough.

When will people stop mistaking scantily clad women on a stage as artists or musicians. At least Traci and Roberta added something to the music that I could easily understand.

For fuck's sake man, she's wearing sneakers, jeans and a white t-shirt. How the fuck is that scantily clad?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA, what a fucking joke. Synth on ISE? That is cringe worthy.

What does it matter? You didn't care obviously for the last 14 years... Now it's an issue, suddenly.

I'd say that's likely because a lot of people didn't care about the band as much for the past 14 years, but now that Slash and Duff are back it's GNR again and these things do matter.

I personally don't care too much if they have someone who's barely audible bashing some keys on AFD songs, as long as I don't hear it in the mix it's all good. I get the need for a second keyboard player live for some songs (we had Teddy back in the day as well), so it's ok that she mimes a bit during songs where the keyboard isn't really featured to keep her busy. Better than sending her off stage, me thinks...

Now, if that shit was audible, that's a whole different story...
