Fewell didn't really get a fair chance, since the team was decimated with injuries and was/is by far the least talented in the division. His defense did considerably better than this year's Bills D with about the same players, although still was statistically lacking compared with the rest of the league. His Giants defense was pretty impressive though.
Mularkey was awful awful awful. Granted we had our last winning season under him but that was an underachieving team. Going into week 17, we were playing a home game against Pittsburgh, who had already locked up the 1st seed and sat all their starters and played a lot of 3rd string players. If the Bills won, they'd make the playoffs, if they lost, they wouldn't. At home. Against a team that didn't even care. And still we lost - so that's the 'clutch' value of Mularkey's teams. Offense was supposedly his specialty but our offense was like 27th or 28th with him.
Williams is too conservative offensively and unimaginative, but he does get a good defense and with a good offensive coordinator you could win with him. But expect to punt from the opponent's 38 a lot. For a bad team, he's a terrible coach, because his conservative calls give your offense no chance to surprise anybody. If you're the better team, Williams can get the win, but don't expect any upsets with him.
The Bills have had some terrible luck with coaches. I really liked what Chan Gailey did with the team this year though.

The live videos I saw of their last tour were awful. I guess a recorded album is something else entirely but I really think VH ought to just stop existing. Eddie can't play anymore.

In 06 there was a rumor started by Eagles of Death Metal that Tommy threw his bass at Axl in Cleveland, but I was at that gig and it certainly didn't happen. I don't remember the more recent allegations.

I'm inclined to believe it, but it doesn't really matter.

Well what are you doing in this thread then before the 3rd if you don't want to discuss it until then?
Not everyone shares your point of view and therefore some people here want to discuss it now and speculate.
I don't object to the speculation, I object to people getting angry about MSL on February 1st because he hasn't delivered on his promise... to release information on February 2nd.
This whole experience has been among the weirdest in gnr forum history, and to me the strangest part is that we're already in the Backlash Stage and the day hasn't even come yet. It just baffles me that people feel betrayed when so far he's done EXACTLY what he said he would do - not release anything until sometime on the 2nd.

Yeah those were really lame, but I liked the draft format of the All Star Game, so I'll excuse it.
The Sabres have reached an agreement to be sold to Terry Pegula! Very excited to hear it, although if he keeps Regier as GM next year I'll be disappointed.

if axl n gnr are such victims of circumstance & conspiracies as they claim then there shouldn't be much in the emails that they don't want people to see. if axl's really as genial & innocent as he makes out they should have nothing to worry about frankly..
Now this I take issue with. The idea that privacy is only for those with something to hide is ludicrous. We all have an equal right to be secure in our persons and our papers. The emails I've sent from my school account have nothing juicy or damaging in them, but I still would be pissed beyond belief if they were published, since it's a crime to do so and a massive violation of my privacy. Similarly, if a cop asked to search my car or my home, I'd politely refuse, and that is not evidence of guilt of anything, it is simply my right and my choice as an individual and citizen with dignity.
I can definitely understand the anger GNR and Axl would have over this, and it's perhaps the worst part of me that's eager to see what MSL's got.
