The more videos I see, the less I understand the 'Slash seems nervous/bored' comments. He's clearly very much into it and moving around as much as the stage allows.

WTF? I realize this guy is professional musician and I have heard that band's name before, but dude, you're talking about an absolute god in your own profession - its absurd for you to even say anything more than "yes" or "no."
Drowning Pool had a pretty cool song in the early 2000's, "Bodies". Of course, I think they had a different lead singer at that time.
Bodies was great, and to be honest their latest record is actually pretty damn good. Well worth checking out on Google Play Music or Spotify or the like...

It sucks to miss out on those things for sure due to being born at the wrong time, but on the bright side at least I'm not an old fuck.
I was born in 1979. Too young to go to concerts at their peak
Good year man, good year!
GNR's first and only #1 hit in Belgium was KOHD and that's what got me into them (in 92, I think). I went out and instead of buying UYI II, I bought AFD and was hooked. I was 13 years old at the time. They did a show in Belgium in 93, but my mom thought I was too young to go.
I did eventually see them in 2002, with Buckethead. And I did see Velvet Revolver in 2004.

I think that would be very lame.
One drummer is fine.
Only if it's Matt

PHRASING!
He might be at the bottom, but, he's a power bottom baby!
Haha! I love Archer, best animated show on TV these days!

Although I can't really empathize with SG, he does have a very simple logical point: no matter how exclusive the first gig might be, for certain people the value of the tickets they purchased for Vegas could be considerably lower than what they payed for it. In other words: even if you can't get into a rumored super-duper exclusive LA club gig, the existence of such a show can impact your perceived value of the Vegas tickets. You can't really argue that, I think.
First world problems? Sure, but that's where we happen to live, so no point in acting all high and mighty about it.

Sorum apparently also confirmed on Twitter that those aren't his sticks either.

The acoustic version is MUCH better, but the song really lacks a chorus. I'd agree with Monkey that the vocal melody in the verse is very good, but that's the only redeeming quality of the song to me. It doesn't build to anything, and those wails he does instead of where a good song would have it's chorus after the first verse are just plain annoying to listen to.
The stripped-down acoustic version also exposes how little there really is to the song. Again, add a chorus, and you can make this thing into a nice acoustic 3-minute song ala You Ain't The First.

The tambourine and analog gear seem to suggest that this is Dizzy's setup.
So we have, in those four pictures:
- Not-Frank's sticks
- Duff's bass guitars
- Dizzy's keys
- Slash's flight case
This game is fun !
I starting to think we're going to see at least 4 alumni on stage. Remember those skeleton pics/clips Slash was tweeting a couple of months ago? The last one had four skeletons, right?

Speaking of sacrilege, I think Brian is better than Bon.
I think Bon is one of those figures where because he died he's become untouchable. Not saying he had no talent, but Brian is a lot better to me and has carried the band to places I don't think Bon would have.
No Doubt Axl sounds good on the Bon tracks....but he's going to need to bring his rasp game for stuff like Back in Black, Thunderstruck, Hell's Bells....but damn it would be killer if he does.
I agree with all of this, Bon was good, but Brian brought the material to a whole new level.
I do think Brian's style of 'rasp' is easier for Axl to attain than his own classic 80's-90's era rasp. Brian's vocal technique isn't as hard on the voice as most people think. He uses his head voice almost exclusively, and while he does add a lot of distortion and compression on top of it, it means that he doesn't sing very loudly, so there's less risk of damage. Of course, he has a hoarse speaking voice to begin with, so that doesn't hurt to achieve the tone he's so famous for.
Axl on the other hand uses a forceful mixture of head and chest voice and adds distortion on top of that. That's a lot harder to do and maintain. He uses the power of his chest voice to introduce the rasp, which not only has a much higher risk of doing serious damage, it also is simply much harder to do. When he goes into Mickey-mode, that's because he can't bring enough power to the table to make his chest voice come through.
So all-in-all, I think that if Axl knows how to bring distortion to his head voice, he should be able to pull off any AC/DC track without too much of an issue.
