Been playing The Last of Us, took a while to get into it but I'm well absorbed now. I can only play for a couple of hours at a time, I find it can get pretty fuckin creepy, not to mention bloody frustrating. Saying that, I played for 5 hours on Sunday, which was suprising as I didnt think I had done much.
I've never played a game with so many cut scenes, its pretty slick and doesnt feel like its holding you up, but without all the cut scenes all the game consists of is shooting baddies or creeping up and strangling them.
I got a bit bored playing Uncharted cause all the games were was just a never ending conveyer belt of baddies to blast your way through, the games looked awesome though, had great music and had great characters, but the actual gameplay was limited.
The Last of Us follows the same gameplay, it just doesnt seem so repetitive cause there is so many regular cut scenes, a strong story and again, great characters.
These infected creatures are fuckin horrible though, the noises they make creeps me right out

3DSXL, dont care about colour or anything, as long as it works. Might actually wait till closer to Christmas, might get some good deals with folk selling their stuff to get a bit of extra money.

Aye that helps, thanks! Thinking of getting a 3ds xl off ebay, surprised the 3ds has been out for a while now but even second hand they are holding their market value, havnt seen any great deals. Theres not a huge amount of difference buying one second or new, think I'll just buy a new console and buy 2nd hand games.

Whats that 3ds like? Was thinking of getting one to play the Zelda games, is it comfortable enough staring into such a small screen? I'm not going to end up cross eyed am I?

) Epic post, I wont break it down but many points should ring loud and clear with everyone, good on ye'!!! Theres a lot of negative stuff thats happened recently that I feel very strongly about that I wont drag up again out of respect for the forum, but I do feel invigorated that despite others selfish intentions there is still the same sense of camaraderie for our quiet, under appreciated, under used, but widely respected little forum.
Our time will come.
When GNR step up, GNR Evo will be be there to meet them with wide open welcoming arms

Dying lol? This forum has seen Nu GNR at the peak of their touring escapades across the world in recent years and there has been months go by without a post in the GNR section, whilst the other sections have been heaving. The fact is most of the regular members here were around when GNR where at their peak and they have been served nothing new for many a year, GNR is as stale as my long departed Granny's slipper... so whats to talk about? Nothing! Its all been said to death, in the stagnent years, when Axl/GNR produce original and new shit then we'll talk... till then the naysayers were right, this band is dead in the water. Its a shame but its the truth, I dont care for DJ or Ron covering Slash's parts, but I'd bust a nut over them doing original stuff with Axl Lemme hear it mofo, no doubt I'll fuckin love it! Get on board or fuck off you scabby hacky parasites, what ya got ya fucks, lets be having yaaaa!!! 
I should venture into the black hole more often, just about to set forth in the Last Of Us... And I know Irish might give me some tips on the pro#]s and cons of setting forth with the latest Zelda games on the 3ds.

The Ron version of better... again I like it, his playing is immense... its just a shame theres the same old Axl track instead of new Axl vocals running to the vibe of this song, it would be so much more powerful if it was just Axl and Ron busting it out in harmony.
Again its just a bonus B-side or whatever, it wasnt made to set the world on fire, just a novelty and I like it. More for some of Rons slick skills though.

Ok I listened to the DJ version of better... I gotta say I liked it, after all I'd read earlier I thought it was going to be an abomination, but its not. This isnt a rerecorded version of Better with DJ replacing Robin, its just a remix he's made up and I think its pretty cool, it sounds about as much as i'd expect from a B-side remix and I'm not disapointed at all. If this was supposed to be a re-dux, and relaunch a rerecorded album then it would be a crushing disapointment, but its not, its just a basic remix for whatever reason, just a bog standard bonus song on a b-side most likely - I like it

Its 2 minutes too long. I'll quite happily never hear it again, still think the start sounds quite cool though.
