I'm thinking things are looking dim.

Hope they do stay together though, because I'd like to see them do a better album.  And I also don't want to have to redesign our forum logo just yet.

Guess they are running out of ideas for lists. Cool to see Estranged on the list this time. Coma would have been better but its Rolling Stone.

They should try to do something more challenging.  How about Best Songs that start with the letter "Q" or Best Songs with a one-word adjective for a title? lol

Those 2 guys in the middle almost look like Nigel and Derek from Spinal Tap. 16

All this talk of Vegas...I haven't been back there in almost 4 years now and I'm really feeling the itch to go (watching episodes of CSI doesn't help either.)

You definitely got some good advice there, PASnow.  I usually make it a point to talk to the locals when I'm there to find out what's going on.  Especially if you plan to hit any clubs, it's better to ask people which place is most happening on a certain night than to just randomly pick a club.

There's so much to do out there that you can easily spend a week on the Strip.  For a second trip though, I'd say make sure you get downtown at some point.  Another thing I suggest is renting a car if possible.  It makes it much easier to get around from casino to casino, and there are also some interesting things to see if you take a drive out of the city.

Next time I'm out there, I'll definitely give JB a holler.  And if any of you find yourselves in Tokyo, drop me a line.  I'm not gonna hold my breath on anyone coming out here though.

It's just alphabetical order I think.

On second look, yeah it does say that. tongue

This list is odd but I do agree with Estranged being on there over November Rain or Civil War.  One thing I DON'T agree with is putting When the Levee Breaks on this list and NOT putting Kashmir...are you fuckin' kidding me?

I thought that was an odd choice, too.  Kasmir would certainly be better.  Though at the moment I'd have to go with Achilles Last Stand because I'm currently addicted to that song.

Definitely lots of strange choices.  Sheep for Pink Floyd?  Where's Shine on You Crazy Diamond?  Or is that being saved for the best songs over 10 minutes list? tongue

I loves me some Estranged though.  So, I'm happy to see that on there!

Sounds cool.  I'm looking forward to see what Nolan and Ledger do with the Joker this time around.  He certainly looks pretty bad-ass!

Wonder if there's a clip of this floating around yet...?

The reason I posted the Japan dates is because the accident happened on the 21st before these dates.   It's not all that unlikely that this is what cancelled the show.

Don't think so.  I just went and checked the thread.  The news about the visa being denied came out on Nov. 14th, so before this incident.

Phalanx?  Not a yellow ship, though. sad

R-Type?  Again, not yellow, but shooting big aliens.

Since we're talking about old nintendo shit, anybody remember this side scrolling game. You were in a little yellow jet and you just had to shoot shit and avoid obstacles.  I forget the name but I used to play it all the time and I must find it again!

Sounds like "1942" to me

I googled it to make sure I got the year right.  Because I can never remember for sure.

No, the one I am thinking of took place in space.

Thanks anyway! big_smile

That description could definitely describe a ton of old school games, but the first one I thought of was Zaxxon.
