Makes me wonder if this new encryption was the deciding factor in Axl allowing Rock band to have the masters.....
Be a real shame if we don't get these....

As for the tracks, it seems the encrpted files are out there, but no-ones cracked them yet!
Apparantly other tracks 4 months old haven't yet been cracked.
Good job our Buddhist-like patience has been finely tuned over the last 14 years!

Yeah I thought these would have been available by now.
Listenin to the bass version of SOD is pure bliss, sounds like a studio live version (if that makes sense!)

What does everyone think about the possibility of Atlas Shrugged being a bonus track, as this CD Blogspot site suggests?
Would be cool, but I have to ask whether one song is enough to justify a re-purchase....

I don't own rock band but from what I hear it is possible to 'pick apart' the tracks, so we should be able to get just vocals, or just bass.
Is this right? I can't afford to shell out on a console right now, but fuck me I'm excited at the prospect of master tracks being dissected!
So is this the case, and if so will anyone here volunteer?

Axl mentioned in one of his chats that Robin's work for the future album(s?) is complete. I hope that Axl doesn't make this new fella record these parts out of respect for Finck, and also because it would inevitably delay a release.
