They could probably make some money over here in Japan. I can't count how many times I've had a conversation like this:
J-guy: Dude, I love hard rock!
Me: Oh, yeah? Like who?
J-guy: Mr. Big. Extreme. "More Than Words" is awesome!

I never bought that visa excuse. Axl has a prior record as well, and that didn't stop GNR from being able to tour there.
Well, the GNR shows were before the changes in visa policy took effect. It may be harder for Axl to get into Japan now.
As fishy as the visa excuse sounds, I can't imagine them bullshitting on that one. There are government records that could be verified. Why not just state "health reasons" like they did shortly after.
And as for feeling bad...yeah, addiction sucks, but I can't feel bad for this asshole when he's putting other people in danger. If he wants to get all fucked up and eventually kill himself, fine. But, get a taxi or a fucking limo. It's not like he can't afford it.

That is hideous!
I understand not wanting to grow old and look old, but if this is the alternative, just let nature take it's course. Better to look like a classy old gal than a freak.

This is a joke, yes?
If not, I'm always gonna answer only one of the 3 just to screw with him.

I'm definitely no expert on music memorabilia, but doesn't that type of stuff rotate to various areas? Like it would be in Vegas for a certain period of time, then another major city?
I'm fairly sure that that is true. Also, I'm almost positive that when they open a new one somewhere, they move some of the memorabilia from other places to the new restaurant. I thought I remember there being some sort of Hard Rock memorabilia home page where you could search for what stuff is where - but it's possibly that I totally dreamt that.

Ho, Ho, Ho a No, No
Everybody knows Santa's jolly laugh, but these days some want Santa to just say no to 'Ho, Ho, Ho.'
In Australia Santa has been banned from saying ho, ho, ho because the word "ho" is slang for the word "whore" or a not-so-nice girl.
Rappers have long been criticized for using the term in songs and we all know what happened to Don Imus when he used it in a joke about the Rutgers University women's basketball team.
So, this year, when Santa visits the land down under, instead of saying ho, ho, ho, he must now say ha, ha, ha.
Parents we spoke with say that Santa is fine just the way he is, and ho, ho, ho is here to stay at least for now in the U.S.A.
I thought I saw this posted somewhere here already, but I couldn't find it. Also, despite what it says in that last paragraph, I heard that some mouth-breathing morons in North Carolina think this is a good idea and want their shopping mall Santas to follow this policy.
I'm just stunned by this. How stupid can people possibly be?!
Any woman, ANY WOMAN who hears a shopping mall Santa saying "ho ho ho" and gets offended, you just get your slutty ass up their and sign your name on Santa's naughty little girls list because you've got some serious guilty issues!

Cute kid Russ! Finally some decent photos around here! :)
Makes me crazy homesick seeing the lawn in the background. Please let that kid run around and have fun out there in the grass. I miss grass.

Thanks for posting this, APE.
I guess this does lend some credence to that story about marketing negotiations holding up the release.
I got a little excited reading, "I know he wants it out as bad as everybody else. " After all the rumors of him being afraid, or whatever, I really hope this part is true and that he's pushing to get this thing out to us.
