I think this is the best hope, as these are the only two on the alt list, ie: the only two with pyro, video package, and rehearsals.
You hit on it. Release 2 songs per leg. Works for me.
They can have my money.

I think it was Goldstein who said play 3 songs a leg and eventually release your album.
Good idea but that timetable is too slow in the modern era, imo.
I think it's a good idea to not bury good press / good will but in my book, you play a new song a show and release it mid-tour.

I like the "what would I do" line but it kinda doesn't fit the song.
The song is basically about this absurd, delusional woman. That line flips it from this observational rant to a possessive question.
It detracts more than it adds. And I don't mind "Absurd" on repeat as long as they mix it right. It's a club music staple. I'm used to it.

Humans aren't always rational creatures.
Most of the business world is designed to avoid irrationality and provide consumers with a steady drip of content.
Combine that with a decade plus of mistreatment and bad decision making and you have resentments build up. This fuels the irrationality.
And then we had 4 years of the same tour when everything was going great, overpriced t-shirts, poor communication, and so on.
I love Absurd. I think people should be excited about it. I think Gn'R should make good on the "whole new show" by playing more new songs and release at least an EP of music for their fans to enjoy. This would help us move forward in a positive way.

This is a song GNR fans might hate but metal fans would dig. It’s just a rocker. They stripped out the electronic elements outside of the bridge false ending. It’s wilder and got more guitars just like Axl said.

I hope they dial back the more shrill elements in the mix but I dug the more rock vibe.

This HAS to mean something is in the works right??? They wouldn't just play Silkworms and have Hardschool in the set just because of the leaks right? The leaks made no noise outside of gnr forums. I hope we hear Oklahoma and Soul Monster and The General now, even the versions without Bucket I would be fine with they show a lot of promise.

Unfortunately only 1 of those was on the rehearsal list iirc.
As much as I love getting to hear new live stuff.....do NOT waste Perhaps in a live setting for the first time.
That begs for a proper release...let people soak it in....then add it to the setlist.
Yeah Perhaps is the best of those demos.
Oklahoma seems like itmcould be something special with a little work. Not too hard, not too soft.
