wow, it's the most active topic of the board. Wake up, Axl, it's time to do something!

The world isn't waiting for any album. Surprise: only a few internet nerds care about Axl's neverending project. Dozens buy Izzy's or Duff's records. Nobody's interested inm usic as much as we were before the downloading era. Now you can get anything in a second. But I still think that the more Slash the better, so I'm waiting for the next VR album (not as much as I wanna hear his solo album though). BTW I think Slash was the Gunner who did the most memorable things since 1991 and I count those leaks, too. For me any song on 5 O'Clock, or half of ALG beats everything the others' done (except TWAT). Long live and bring back the Snakepit wonder.

Hopefully it isn't Langdon, but I'd be really surprised to see a good VR album ever. I wonder if these guys still have the creative spark, and I very much doubt they could really do anything new or different. I can't believe Duff and Slash wouldn't have listened to all the CD leaks. I mean, I don't think he's lying, but isn't it weird that no one ever came to him and played him the songs? Oh well.
Is Sorum still in the band? It's been a while since he's run his mouth and tarnish the legacy of every band he's ever been a part of...
I don't think that after Messages anyone can question if their creative ability is still there. It's my favourite GN'R-related song of the decade, among with T.W.A.T.
I love She Mine, Get Out The Door, Spay and Dime, too, and like a lot other tracks off Libertad.

I didn't read anything bad or less promising. It's the same ole side steppin answers about CD.
It's real hard to believe he didn't sign a confidentiality agreement, but I'm not going to call the
guy a liar.
I think he was too reluctant about the first single and Chinese Democracy and I take it as a bad sign.
Anyway, I like the guy a lot as a person. He's the Gilby of the new era.

www.chinesedemocracy.com did an interview with Bumble... He sounds even less promising than in the CR article
#2616 Re: The Sunset Strip » Sebastian Bach- Angel Down » 881 weeks ago
I saw the video on a then and now thing on VH1 and actually thought it was ok, but I've always liked Bach's voice...it's the other things I can do without.
Same here. I think I'd like this album much more if there wasn't Skid Row... You know.. it's hard to beat Slave to the Grind, one of the best albums of all time, and everything Baz ever does will be compared to that magnificent music. I still think he should reunite with the old guys, including the great Rob Affuso.

Big Gun wrote:oh dear...album not finished?
Thats me reading between the lines, but when a guy who is on the album cant even say its finished and instead has to spew the party line, its either not finished or he doesn't know its current status.
Bumble doesn't want to be in trouble. In the Axl Rose world nothing's finished till it gets released. Sometimes it turns out that even the released material was unfinished.
Anyway, I'm starting to doubt the album will come out this year.

I wonder why this "very talented" bunch shows close to nothing on the leaks (except BH's solos). The music is mostly boring and uninspired.
