#2661 Re: Dust N' Bones & Cyborg Slunks » Sorum - "Singer Search Is Coming Along" » 890 weeks ago
I'm sticking to my smokescreen theory.
I don't think they're doing anything right now and the 'we're looking for a new singer' thing can be true and a lie at the same time. They obviously want to find someone, but they're not in hurry for sure. C'mon Slash, gimme that solo album!
#2662 Re: Guns N' Roses » Would the old band play the new songs? » 891 weeks ago
Maybe some songs would pop up, but since BH's playing is very different from Slash's, there is not too much chance for the rockers, and as Slash doesn't like ballads, there isn't too much chance for the ballads Anyway, there isn't too much chance neither for the reunion, nor for CD.

Don't worry in thirty years we'll get the Prequel Trilogy:thumbup:
I think we'll get it by 2020. Dylan will be as old as Axl was when he fell in love with Stephanie, so he could really understand Axl's feelings.

elmir wrote:for those gnr "historians"...do these dates carry any meaning within them....?...i.e...anniversaries of whatever in Axl's life or whatnot...?...sic...would you know?
A few years back I thought Axl might be waiting for Dylan to become an adult before releasing the album. He said years ago something about if he listened to the album, he would understand. Shows how serious Axl viewed his relationship with Dylan, yet at the same time shows how insane he is since Dylan was two(or was it three?) when the Axl/Steph split took place and more than likely doesn't even remember Axl.
I had the sme thoughts and conclusion
As for the 'Axl has a masterplan' bullshit... when a man tells even in the autumn of 2006 that his record will come out that year and two years later there's still nothing, I can't stop laughing on his grandious 2012 plans.

I guess 'Axl Lucas' had a time schedule even back in 2001, but that was a bit different. It's ridiculous and typical Axl. If you can't get something done, then be much more ambitious and have even bigger and harder aims.
#2666 Re: Guns N' Roses » Richard talks GnR in Japanese Magazines » 892 weeks ago
Although Richard doesn't know too much and his opinion and wishes don't mean anything in the Axl world, which, not to mention, changes day to day, it's good that he answered the questions and said some interesting stuff
#2667 Re: The Sunset Strip » Top 10 albums of the 80's » 892 weeks ago
I don't really like the 80s, I think this decade sucked musically (well, with a few exceptions:haha:)
1. Guns N' Roses: Appetite For Destruction
2. Guns N' Roses: Lies
3. Aerosmith: Pump
4. Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds: The Good Son
5. Bon Jovi: New Jersey
6. Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds: Tender Prey
7. Aerosmith: Permanent Vacation
8. U2: The Joshua Tree
9. Michael Jackson: Bad
10. Bon Jovi: Slippery When Wet
I totally forgot about Queen
1. Guns N' Roses: Appetite For Destruction
2. Guns N' Roses: Lies
3. Aerosmith: Pump
4. Queen: A Kind of Magic
5. Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds: The Good Son
6. Bon Jovi: New Jersey
7. Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds: Tender Prey
8. Aerosmith: Permanent Vacation
9. U2: The Joshua Tree
10. Michael Jackson: Bad
#2668 Re: Guns N' Roses » Axl's years of therapy - what has been achieved? » 892 weeks ago
Sic, I agree with a lot of your speculation, but it seems that Axl is unable to finish anything, even in full control. I guess he's so paranoid and afraid of failure that it ruins everything.
#2669 Re: The Sunset Strip » Top 10 albums of the 80's » 893 weeks ago
You rate Bad higher than Thriller?:nervous:
80's was great, although I can see why some would hate various aspects of it. Pop pretty much ruled the roost through the entire decade, and pretty much influenced everything.
I've never been a Thriller fan. I know that Bad is more pop, but when I was 11-13, I heard that album like once in every day, thanks to my brother. I got it know note to note, and like it almost note to note
As for the 80s... I think rock was so weak back then (in general), that even Boney M made better albums than most of the rock bands.:/ Unfortunately after the glorious 90s, rock is in another sad state today
