Just now saw this. I'd definitely be down to drink a beer with ya, but I'm workin both jobs that day! If I were you, I would just go to the show. To me, there's nothing like seeing a legend doing what he does best. Then again, I don't listen to Kenn Rogers at all.

I understood the criticisms of the 2nd one, but I still enjoyed it. I'm really curious as to what exactly is going on in this movie since I'm sure they're not going to get drugged by Allen again...I hope.

I've only seen Guns 3 times, 02, 06, and 11. Never got to see the originals with Axl, just with Myles in Cleveland. But I have seen Bucket and Robin. No Paul though, but does he count?

I missed BH and Robin - could have gone in 2002 but decided I wasn't interested after the VMAs. In retrospect I wish I had gone (much like I wish I had gone to see VR) if for nothing else than to say I've seen that version too. Maybe we should do a tours we wished we had gone to thread (not just GnR)...
VR was actually my first show back in middle school. My buddy actually threw an AFD shirt and hit Slash right in the face.

Lads, no offense but it's quite easy to be cynical. There's a contingent of motherfuckers on this board who think their cynicism makes them better equipped to pass judgement here. Well, there's a contingent of us who aren't cynical and aren't naive either. We're hopeful realists. If you want to shit on the band at every turn go start your own fucking board, and shit on them there.
Is this really needed? I think it'd be cooler if we could all just share our opinions and not get butthurt at each other.
And to get back on-topic, I always found Axl's interviews interesting. I get the weirdest vibes from the guy, even if I'm just reading something he wrote. Like..something's just off, and the weird off the wall paragraphs just reinforce that.

WWE is saddened to learn of the passing of William Moody, aka Paul Bearer. Moody made his WWE debut in 1991 as the manager of The Undertaker and went on to become a memorable part of WWE over the course of the next 20 years.
Our deepest condolences go out to Moody’s family, friends and fans.

I can imagine realistically if you tour for years every so often there's going to be a one-off incident where you're sick or something else fucks up....the test will be if it starts happening all the time like with GNR....
