Man the LP looks sweet. I don't play vinyl anymore, but I am thinking of getting a copy anyway.
That kills me. I ordered a delivered copy (I still have my other two copies for in-store pick up) last night, and it's already shipped. My tracking links via USPS calls up the UPS website (wtf?!?!), and I called Best Buy. The woman I spoke with didn't know why UPS came up, said it shipped by USPS, and that it should arrive between the 24th and Dec. 1st. Still, I remain hopeful....
Ok I just figured it out. The same thing happened to me. They are using UPS mail innovations. The UPS takes it to the USPS and the USPS is supposed to deliver it to us.

I hope you're right, Neemo! They shipped it through UPS though and that typically doesn't deliver on the weekends, but maybe they started their Holiday weekend delivery. If it came through the post I would be more confident in receiving it because they deliver on Saturdays here. LittleFly received hers. I'm so jealous because hers came from the New Jersey warehouse and I'm closer to NJ than she is.

Ron is definitely a nice guy who genuinely cares about the fans. I was a little shocked to see Ron join the band for that reason. When it seemed like he lost out on the job from speaking about it on his website I thought he might not be the best fit because he is obviously a guy who loves to communicate and give back to thew fans while Axl would prefer the band members to remain silent.
Finck might have realized that he was in a no-win situation and that's why he decided not to communicate.

I highly doubt they'd keep track of something like that. They probably shipped, in order to coincide with the 22nd or 24th, basically "around" the release date.
You're right. Online stores tend to ship things out early to get them to you in time for the release date.
There isn't any tracking info on mine so I am starting to think I might not receive it until Monday.

To be honest, I dont think Axl has anything to do with the album at this point. Its all Azoffs show?.?.
I think you are right. I think Axl just released it to get the monkey off his back. It doesn't seem like he is planning on taking this band forward.

I just got a notice that my copy of CD was shipped. Hopefully I'll have it by the end of the week.

Its all leaking, just song by song. The guy is supposedly on dial up. I'm not even gonna bother. Tired of this light drizzle of songs coming out. I'll wait for the full thing in one shot. Not gonna jack off while some guy eats tacos while uploading at 2 kbs a second.
I agree. We're this close to the release so I can't be arsed to hunt down each individual track.

CD starts tomorrow? Heard a guy from a Norwegian general music forum saying he was told by a record store employee they will start to recieve the album. This is definitely no bullshitter, but he could of course have been mistaken.
Seems a bit early to me. Thoughts?
Sounds about right to me. I imagine they receive albums about a week before release.
#269 Re: Guns N' Roses » Best Buy/GNR Weekly Ads » 868 weeks ago
I guess I just got a different ad. It's similar to the one in the link but with some differences. I looked at the ad on BestBuy.com and it's the one I have without CD.

Weird. I have a copy of the ad and CD isn't in it at all.
