#261 Re: Guns N' Roses » P.R.L. leak » 310 weeks ago

The tracks on the leaks were titled track 1, track 2 etc.. Someone has retitled it, but also got the year in the description wrong

Also adds doubt

has agreed to take the fall for me posting this thread.

Personally I find it really odd and out off place. Fitting this and Thyme together. It might just be a background layering, but why include this on the rough mix discs on it's own among-st the other tracks.

Worse yet, if it's real. We're never going to get an answer to this one, short of a different set of leaks.

There's no fall to be had smile

The band have never responded to the leaks, The track might be real, we might be getting played to drum up interest, RM2 might be the one that the band do not want leaked. The landscape has changed, anything is possible

MSL, you're logged in, is this fake?

I don’t know, it’s too generic.. listen to the (programming?) drums - after working with two beasts (and having them re-record tracks again and again) who would settle for those drums?

My thinking as well, sounds like a cheap analogue keyboard, and mostly two keys played throughout

#265 Re: Guns N' Roses » P.R.L. leak » 310 weeks ago

I still think it's fake, but I guess we'll find out in due course

#266 Re: Guns N' Roses » P.R.L. leak » 310 weeks ago

It has to fit with Thyme or it's fake. I've not heard it, but it's too easy to fake an instrumental

#267 Re: Guns N' Roses » P.R.L. leak » 310 weeks ago

It's probably fake then

I don't know. It's just a suggestion more than anything

That would be a helluva lot of coincidences for Circus NOT to be Seven.

I think we’re on to something.

It helps that it sounds like a song that could be turned into a ballad, and it is melodic at the end

In the bible, Rome was known as the city of the seven hills. Ben Hur was apparently set in AD26

More about the number seven http://www.beyondtoscano.com/geography/ … hills-148/

--------------------------------

The number seven pops up a lot in Italian culture. It’s the most used number in the Bible, is sometimes used to symbolize completeness (if you believe the Earth was made in seven days), there are seven Sacraments of the Roman Catholic Church and Rome had seven kings.

Rome itself began life as seven individual communities, each sat on top of a hill. According to legend, the original settlement called Rome was founded by the first king, Romulus, in 753 BC on Palatine Hill.

Just like with Cuban Skies being If The World, we don't know anything until we get another song title fact check with Axl or more developed demos with the according titles. So maybe we'll never find out sad

Very true. It just dawned on me there that Circus Maximus sounded Roman, so I thought I'd see what it was haha

I saw the other post, but Ben Hur was actually filmed at Circus Maximus in Rome. I don't know if that is another angle (wrt the track "Seven"). Chariot races typically took place over seven laps, Rome is built on seven hills and had seven kings.

Circus Maximus is Seven.

I don't know. It's just a suggestion more than anything
