#2691 Re: Guns N' Roses » GNR issue statement about Robin » 896 weeks ago
I bet Mystron is an Axl employee. Jarmo wouldn't let even an insider to tell the fans tidbits about what's going on if he'd have the slightest doubt that Axl doesn't want the info to be shared. Not to mention that Mysteron is always over-supportive and never loses his extreme loyalty. A non-Axl-employee wouldn't act that way.

Don't you find it odd that in the picture of the press release Robin shows his back to us and Axl? ...Without going into speculation ...
#2693 Re: Guns N' Roses » GNR issue statement about Robin » 896 weeks ago
First of all it's great that they gave us an update about Robin It seems like either they don't know what Robin's plans are or they ...fuck, it's not them, it's only axl... so Axl wants to change Robin's mind. Thank God Axl didn't use the words 'sudden and unexpected' this time. But the situation doesn't look too good: Axl wants to release an album without having the two lead guitarists, and maybe one of the main songwriters (Huge) in his band... it'd be very strange. The touring(?) line-up with Ron, Richard and Frank will be much powerless than the BH/Finck/Brain combo. I'm not a Finck fan and I think Richard is much better, but Axl clearly had something in his mind to stick with that guy as his solo guitarist solo long. Anyway, if Finck's gone and the touring line-up will be that different from the recording band, then Axl can't try to hide anymore that it's his solo project. Nothing's wrong with that, as I see the J-posts @ the official unofficial forum, the guy's trying to change people's attitude to this.
One thing to add: I still don't understand Finck's motives... IF Chinese Democracy is really so close to being released that he must be bat shit crazy to leave for a touring spont in another band, be it as big as NIN are. CD could have been his ticket to the area of known and respected guitarists, but leaving before the album happens will decrease his chances. I guess he's not that sure that 'the landing pad is near'.

Here's what Mysteron said:
Richard has been punk'd in the past wrt interviews, and I think he has done the right thing here. He has shown respect to the interviewer, but also to GN'R.
I know people rattle on about the 'no comment' attitude of the GN'R folk, but it is purely down to respect. Thankfully there is still some left in the world.

I gotta give karma for this because it really is insane isn't it.
Over at HTGTH they say that Richard doesn't answer GNR questions because of bad experiences with it and how his words are taken as news. That may be so. But WHY does the media and fans take HIS words and news? Maybe because there are a problem in how GNR communicates? If they communicated properly, Richards words wouldnt count for more than that...words. So instead of blaming us and the media for it, they might look at their own system first and find out WHY it happens.
Now for the big finale, what does past history and songs written by outsiders (like Beatiful) got ANYTHING to do with news or how his words are interpreted by fans and media?
Horrible.
The Axl Cult's followers are complete lunatics. They're keep saying how guilty all we are and don't deserve a true word from the Almighty God who Axl Rose is. 'We're not worthy, we're not worthy', they're chanting all the time. Everything Almighty Axl does or doesn't do is the pure perfection. You cannot question His Golden Words, and when his words turn out to be... erm... bullshit, then the high priests do everything to tell the others that Almighty Axl meant the exact opposite, or how his almighty plans can change and we're to small and stupid to understand his great plans and greater mastermind.
Not to mention the Evil forces, who came only to destroy Almighty Axl. The Evil can appear on different ways: sometimes he looks like Doug Goldstein, sometimes like Buckethead, Merck Mercuriadis, promoters, fire brigades, 'so-called fans', and - according to brand new and yet to be publicated studies - he can even appear in the shape of Robin Finck. But mostly the Evil shows his true face: Slash. And the zealots have the same attitude as the inquisition when it comes to the Fallen Angel, the worst Devil of All, named Slash, who is The Master of Lies, and a thief, who deserves nothing but all-time purification and his followers need to be eliminated. The war between the forces of Good and Bad can never end until the Good forces get the Holy Grail, the album called Chinese Democracy. But as the Almighty One himself once said (Book of Press Releases, 2002): "If you're waiting...don't. Live your life. But if you're really into waiting try holding your breath for Jesus cause I hear the payoff may be that much greater". It's still the object of interpretations if he meants it's only a fuckin' album or he meant that he's been working on a trilogy called Jesus, so without the other 2 albums the war cannot end. But everyone in the Axl Rose church agree in some things: first of all that not 5 Gods made the Holiness of Guns N' Roses, not even a Blessed Trinity, but Axl Rose himself, alone. And the other foundation-stone is that the fans should shut up and be happy what you get and don't think about what you don't. Anyone who dares to question this truth is a heretic and will be banned.

Thanks! But a great Slash skin would be very appreciated!

Just because HTGTH/the Axl camp denies something that doesn't mean it's not true.
They didn't. Blabbermouth denied association with the article. It's weird because GNRFrance.net is under the HTGTH umbrella (somewhat) through Will (mod at HTGTH and admin at GNRFrance). It's possible that the "article" (yes sic, I'm using quotation marks correctly,
) was generated internally from HTGTH's admin section.
Yeah, I read that later, my bad While I still think my previous post is correct, it has nothing to do with this topic
Anyway, I don't understand why Will would make up a story like that... I really don't understand. Maybe he got some "info", but that didn't come from Blabbermouth?

#2699 Re: Guns N' Roses » Rumor - Izzy replacing Robin » 897 weeks ago
It's not one of the following, or so it seems:
- Spanish
- Portuguese
- Croatian
- Serbian
- Hungarian
- Czech
- Polish
- RomanianIt's also not Esperanto (was just a hunch
).
This site: http://ruphus.com/identify/ suggests it's Asturian, which as a sort of mix between Latin and Spanish, spoken in certain regions in Spain...
Can't translate that though...
not Hungarian, for sure.
#2700 Re: Guns N' Roses » GNR to tour Brazil in 2008?? » 897 weeks ago
I guess we can expect an update on the official site telling us not to expect GN'R to play South America. They use gunsnroses.com on a very, very special way: they tell us most of the things that won't happen, but do not tell what will happen. Maybe Axl has more plans about what not to do than what to do.
