They were in big smiles when they were watching Slash. That's all, not too much, but Gilby attending a VR show in London isn't that common, I think.

It's pathetic that the official website still doesn't have a word about CD being completed, yet Axl had something to say about the Dr. Pepper thing on the very next day. If it wasn't enough, the unofficial official 'fan' site deletes the info and later posts Axl's statement before that appears on the official site. This is a joke, I feel ashamed again to be a GN'R fan.

I'm one of the few that actually likes Libertad (though admittedly i haven't listened to it in a couple months). I think the album is good, but in a much different way than people expect when they hear Slash playing. It's not his best work and he gets lost in the mix from time to time (which should never happen), but I'll take it over anything by Nickleback or other "rock" bands of today,
I think Libertad is a really good album, I still listen it like once in 2 weeks. Slash sohuld have been given more space, but I dig the "danceable" vibe and without Scott they can make a pretty great album. 
Slash has so many options... doing a solo album, another VR with another singer (and rhythm guitarist? Gilby Clarke appeared at the Brixton show yesterday...) or team up with Izzy and do that GN'Rish album they wrote.

I'll tolerate VR if Slash puts out a solo album as well, but the solo album should be the priority.
And some advice for VR live shows - don't be afraid of good songs because you wrote them! Play Beggars and Hangers-On, Lower, Back and Forth Again, and some Duff tunes to carry the weaker VR material.

James is right.... If I reunion ever happens Matt will definitely be on the drums.
Sitting there playing drums right along with that piano.
I wonder if he'll be asking "Hey wait. I thought I was in a rock band?" or if he'll be too busy counting money to worry about that.
People like to misquote Matt about the piano thing. He said the same thing when he was in Guns: he'd been surprised when he had heard NR for the first time, cause that wasn't the song people expected GN'R to play. He was surprised and didn't like it for the first few listens, but later got used to the idea. That's it.

Matt is a cock, but Scott is an even bigger cock. He's as uncool as a frontman can be. The guy is just annoying. I never liked him in VR, but I supported Slash & Co's decision. His betrayal is one of the worsts in the history of rock. The other guys did everything to save him and what he's got in return? I have no problems with him rejoining STP, but his disrespect towards Slash & Co is unbelievable. Rid of this junkie and let him die alone.
Can't wait to hear Slash's solo album though At least Scott won't limitate his guitar playing. What a douchebag :sick:
