According to MTV Spain, GUNS N' ROSES has been confirmed for the Kobetasonik festival, set to take place June 19-20 in Bilbao, Spain.
The festival billing is now as follows:

The last time GUNS N' ROSES played in Spain was in 2006 at the Bilbao Live Festival.
GUNS N' ROSES' new album, "Chinese Democracy", was officially certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) on February 3, 2009 for shipments in the United States in excess of one million copies. According to Nielsen SoundScan, the CD has shifted 554,000 units since it was released on November 23, 2008 as a Best Buy exclusive after a wait of more than 15 years.
Aside from a Billboard interview and answering a number of fan questions at a GUNS N' ROSES message board, Axl Rose has done no promotion of any kind for "Chinese Democracy".

TV series fans tried but couldn't save Rob Hedden's Jason Takes Manhattan, which made it to the third round. It was the first of the original franchise to get the boot. The number of Kane Hodder entries now making the list has been cut in half. How much longer can the fan favorite Jason hang in there?

Rob Zombie began principal photography on Monday (February 23) for his sequel to "Halloween", tentatively titled "H2". The follow-up to the rocker-turned-director's 2007 hit remake of the horror classic is due out at the end of August. Zombie posted a message on his MySpace blog about the start of shooting, writing that "we made it through the first three days. Everything is going great. This film is going to blow away my last trip to Haddonfield. Ultra-gritty, ultra-intense and very real. Here is a sneak peek [see below] of Laurie moments after being wheeled into the ER."
"H2" is shooting in Georgia.
Zombie said in one recent interview that the new film will focus less on serial killer Michael Myers and more on his sister, Laurie, played by Scout Taylor-Compton.
As for Zombie's next studio album, he recently completed recording for it and plans to issue the disc in either late summer or early fall, according to HardDrive Radio.
