Not the anticipation, Axlin08, just the fact that they're not that good and look fan made. I think you may defend the album a bit too much and therefore don't see things clearly, either. I mean, come on, not like the promos thus far haven't been building this album to be anything but epic. Didn't one say "the wait is finally over?" When I hear the word 'wait' I take it as it's something really building up.

I dunno, I always see Black Ice promos on TV and it seems to be doing fine.

Is it normal for a CD not to be properly announced 22 days before it retails?

First people say I'm anti-Axl, now I'm anti-Slash and pro-Adler. Get a clue, dude. Just makes sense on his solo record he said in his book he'd have "Slash & Friends" that he'd have his old buddy on the record. Has he given him plenty of shots? Probably, but let's not sit here and act like Slash hasn't had a shitload of chances in his life, either.

I forgot to ask; Any of these songs feature profanities?

I don't mind a Rod Stewart or Elton John, and I actually would love to see Axl take that plunge because I think his voice and feel is perfect for it; but do it or don't, you know? If you're going to put 8 or 9 ballads on an album, it drowns everything else rather than making the rockers stand out.

Contrarily, I think all the ballads are just so damned depressing. I guess it reflects Axl's life and in that sense it's really touching, but damn.
